We loved everything! The location, the decor and especially the staff, who were sweet and charming.
I wouldn't change a thing.
We loved everything about our stay in this hotel: location (in the heart of the old town, 2 min by foot to the House of the Blackheads, 15 min by foot to the Central train station), design of the room (and it was really spacious as well and had an amazing city view, we stayed in 604), wi-fi quality, delicious breakfasts, very nice and friendly staff. We felt welcomed and very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to get the most out of their trip to Riga. And we will definitely stay in Neiburgs again when we travel to Riga. We would like to express our gratitude to the staff of Neiburgs for making our stay so awesome!
Clean, comfortable and interesting design
The wifi in the room was not work.
Excellent standards all round and good location. Restaurant excellent.
Saturday night noise from night club nearby. Had to close beautiful silk curtains as room fronted street but this then shut out heat from radiators behind curtains- need to install blinds and leave curtains as dress only. TV too far from bed for comfortable viewing. High end for Riga with prices to match so not cheapest option. Paying for kitchen but pointless if not self-catering at all.
An excellent hotel in the centre of the Old Town. Very spacious and contemporary.
We were given an upgrade from a studio to a 2 room senior apartment and free transfers to and from airport as compensation for the booking issue . Staff were friendly and helpful . Room was spacious and elegant . Location is excellent for easy access to the must sees in Riga . Sauna and steam bath facilities are very good .
Booking issue meant we had to spend first of 4 nights in an adjoining property arranged by manager. Old Riga is very noisy late week especially Friday and Saturday nights .This can affect the quality of sleep . ..the downside of an Old Town location .
Modern facilities and decor Very good restaurant
The hotel ambience is fantastic, the style so charming. Staff was very helpful and friendly all the time, facilities are great, the room was clean and very large, bed very comfortable, bathroom nice and clean, everything was provided. The Food int eh restaurant delicious and lovely atmosphere too. The nicest addition was the sauna and steam room that could be booked for individual use, it was perfect to relax after a day at work! I would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and would stay there should I ever go back to Riga. Location was also excellent and I aslo tried the SPA and had a great amber massage...
At night it was a bit noisy from the street, not sure if it was people working or something.
A very large, nice and clean rooms with kitchen.
Hotel is located in the middle of the Old Town. So this leads to very noisy rooms on the street side and can not be accessed by car.
nothing at all
Design, facilities and space in the room, attitude of staff, breakfast
Beautiful design of the hotel Perfect location Great breakfast
Modernised building with very fine rooms. We had a large superior room towards the courtyard, which was absolutely quiet. Beds were excellent. TV with a limited selection of programs was fine. Kitchenette was included, but we did not use it. Bathroom modern. Central location just behind the dome. Breakfast buffet corresponded to international standards. The hotel also has a pretty good restaurant with an outside terrace open to a pedestrian zone. Very nice place to sit and watch people
It was surprising (but encountered also in the other Scandinavian hotels) that there were no fresh berries offered for breakfast, while the markets were overflowing with blueberries, red currants and strawberries in this time of the year.
very clean private staff breakfast all you need for great stay
Considering the number of tourists stopping by just to admire the façade we can agree that the Neiburgs hotel is one of the landmark of Riga'as old city. Comfort is excellent and our room was fairly spacious. A perfect place to stay if you want to discover Riga.
Our room was noisy at night time. Pubs in the old city are closing very late and we could here people screaming outside. Not the best sleep we ever had.
after 4 hours traveling we could have a shower and dine in the cooling pavement area; food was delicious.
Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms
position, room , decor , all outstanding , very nice staff
appalling choice of tv channels , noise from a bar on the street until 4am and beyond , shower head not working
Everything was great. The hotel is beautifully located in an old town Art Deco building. The room was great, everything fully functioning. Modern while classic, no kitsch decorations to appeal to overseas customers searching for Old-Europe spirit in a Disneyland mood (contrary to many establishments in Baltic capitals). The restaurant is excellent, modern, relatively sophisticated with a local touch, offering very fair prices. The staff is friendly, attentive and very professional. Riga is an amazing city.
No remark here. Note that we are very experienced European travellers with a demanding taste, not easy to please. We often indicate some margin of improvement in our reviews. This time, I have absolutely no critical remark.
Highly rated boutique style hotel well situated in the old town. Our stay was wonderful all around and it was great value for money.
Nothing. Excellent hotel
Superb in every way.
amazing hotel. everything was great!!!! staff so friendly and super location!!!
Excellent decor and cleanliness. Bright, intelligent, helpful staff. Only a few minutes walk from everything interesting in the city. Art Nouveau facade so beautiful that flocks of tourists come to photograph it. The 'Room' was actually a downstairs living area with cooking facilities and toilet, plus upstairs bedroom and bathroom. An excellent arrangement. Also, we asked for a quiet room and it was indeed quiet. I reccomend this hotel.
Minor points: room safes not working, and despite two complaints, the extractor fans in the bathroom and toilet did not work. They should fix these irritating details in an otherwise excellent hotel.
