Reception Staff was exceptional ... Polite, Professional, Responnsive Te Breakfast was very nice but the wait staff was indifferent. Everyone served themselves for coffee and hot water and we still ahd to wait to have the caraffs filled. Four or five people ... mostly standing around trying to pretend they did not see you. |

Nice location in the city, quiet allthough the Hotel is situated at a buissy street, very comfy beds! The room was nice and fresh. The most disappointing thing was the breakfast. For a four star hotel I expect more from a hotel. It would also be nice to have some english speaking TV-channels than CNN and EuroNews. |

Its location to the sights of the city and its breakfast selection The shower was an open shower causing the bathroom floor to be wet and slippery.. |

Friendly helpful staff fluent in Latvian, English & Russian. Clean room, comfortable bed, nice decor The shower drain could not keep up with the shower head, so the water would spread over the whole bathroom if we didn't turn the tap to a low volume of water. |

The location of the hotel is very good, also the cleanliness was good and the hotel could offer a Spa & Sauna at low cost. The staff was friendly and the overall service was good. I'd say you got what you expected from the value of the money. The breakfast was a little too small in alternatives. We would have liked more healthy alternatives as salads and fruits. Also, there seemed to be could have been better job routines amongst of the breakfast staff, as a slight "mess" whilst serving and cleaning. |

The location of the hotel was excellent, just by the old town and near big shops and market place. Also the nearness of bus and railwaystation was good. Interior-design specially in hotelroom was really beautiful and everything was clean. Small spa was good. Hotel rates were fine and breakfast very good At the same time there were tourists from Italy and Denmark that were really noisy during breakfast and specially the Italians in sauna-department where people go to relax in peace. |

Staff were very helpful during stay & service was 100%, janis "front of house" & housekeeping. Yes, for an high rated european hotel, I would have suspected sky news & sports on bedroom tv, mostly russian/german/french channels. Don't forget english is the most spoken anywhere in the world.. They did have cnn & euro news but everyday it was just repeated..... If they can provide it in thailand/africa they should have no problem. |

I'd like the hotel as well as the staff. Perfect location: 2 minutes from the railway station, 3 minutes from the old town. I would propose to add more fruits and vegetables at breakfast. |
