Only a 5-minute walk from Riga’s Old Town and the Latvian National Opera, Opera Hotel & SPA offers free Wi-Fi and a spa area with an indoor pool. The elegant rooms feature flat-screen TVs, minibars and safes. Offering views of the center of the city and Riga’s Opera House, they are designed in a modern Scandinavian style with natural fabrics and designer furniture. The spa includes a sauna, a steam bath, and 2 treatment rooms offering a total of 55 different treatments. They are available at special rates. An Art Nouveau building constructed in 1884 by the famous Latvian architect Janis Baumanis, the Opera & SPA features a 24-hour front desk and a lounge with an open fireplace. The business center can be used free of charge. The restaurant serves Latvian and international cuisine, as well as a selection of fine wines, for lunch and dinner. In summer, guests can dine on the terrace. Opera Hotel also features a lobby bar serving a wide range of drinks and meals. A rich breakfast buffet is available every morning. Many shops, restaurants and bars are only a few steps from the Opera Hotel & SPA. Good location in front of central reilway station, close to old Riga. Frendly staff, clean room!!! Special thanks for maid, who never disturb us and clean very good.Breakfast was also good.

I really enjoyed staying at Opera Hotel & Spa. Room was very comfortable, well-maintained and nice. Service was excellent! Staff allowed us to feel cared for. Very tasty breakfast and buffet in the restaurant.Hotel location is very convenient - right in the center of all attractions and also all best shops were around there. We have got the best impression of the Opera Hotel & Spa, also of Riga.

Nice rooms without carpets. We had the superiour room wich was very nice and big. The hotel also had a good deal with taxi from hotel to airport. Could have been more english channels in the standard channel pack

Very nice and friendly staff. Location is just perfect! The only uncomfortable thing was parking - on the street it is quite expensive. The nearest parking lot is not SO close (if you have a heavy suitcase and the weather is not so great).

The excellent service of the staff, the friendly atmosphere, the value for money, the location (easy access to Central Market, the Old Town, and, in pre-Christmas time, all the nice and entertaining Christmas markets, concerts, opera offers etc.). The upper floor (5th) standard rooms are a little claustrophobic. We changed to a higher standard after one night. No problem, the staff did the change swiftly and with a smile.

Good location. 2 Minutes from the Old Town. Fast check-in. Don't expected sauna and swimming pool to be extra cost. It would be better that hotel calling itself spa clarified such things on booking page.

I liked the fact that the hotel had spa facilities although I wasn't able to use them. The room was clean and comfortable and staff were very helpful in getting a taxi and spoke very good English too.

The hotel is located very near both old and "new" Riga, and close to transport (train, bus, boat, taxi, trolly etc.) so its easy to get around. I thought the breakfast-buffet could have been more exiting, and more could have been done to make the outside terrace/hotelbar more interesting.
