Newly opened in April 2008, the Nordic Hotel Bellevue is located in the centre of Riga, only a few steps from the old town, amid shopping centres and overlooking the opera house and the picturesque park with the Riga Channel.

This first-class business and leisure hotel is situated in a 19th-century building with beautiful, individually designed rooms. The rooms offer a wonderful view of the opera house and the old town, and stylishly combine rich colours and designer furniture with oak wood floors and natural fabrics.

The Babor Spa has a 23 m² whirlpool with chromo and sound therapy, a pearl bath, a sauna, a steam room, Rasul, 2 treatment rooms and the Vital Bar. The sauna and the pool are available to hotel guests every day at special rates from 07:00 to 22:00 on weekdays and from 09:00 until 22:00 on weekends.

On request, the hotel can assist with tours, tour guides, airport pick-up, car rental, taxis, an on-call doctor and a babysitting service.

Food & beverage

The cuisine at Bel Ami is characterised by a fresh interpretation of traditional classics, where the boundaries of experimentation are open and guests can expect the occasional surprise. Award-winning chefs present the cuisine with charm and elegance. The food and beverage manager offers wine from Bel Ami's exquisitely maintained wine cellar.

Breakfast is served from 07:00 every day, and dinner is served from 15:00 to 22:00 Tuesday to Saturday.

The summer terrace offers a cheerful atmosphere and dynamic surroundings. It is open in the summer time, depending on the weather.

The lobby bar offers signature drinks and a wide variety of food. Its perfect location and great selection of cocktails attracts business guests and diplomats, as well as leisure visitors. The bar is open daily from 10:00 until 23:00.

good location, appropriate size of room, pleasant style of design

backyard view of room was - like in all hotels - a problem: noise and smell from the kitchen did not allow to open the windows, however, this did not impair my positive evaluation of the hotel

Proximity to Old Town

Your site says that this hotel has an indoor swimming pool. It is not really a swimming pool. The hotel also charges for using this facility; this is not mentioned in the information on your site.

Central location, modern and comfortable hotel.

There is a swimming pool advertised as a facility but it is more of a whirl pool and to use it or the steam room etc you have to pay, and it is quite expensive.

Wonderful hotel. We have stayed at a couple of other hotels in Riga and this was the best. The staff was very helpful. We had a couple of problems and the staff took care of them immediately. The best part of this hotel is the location. From the airport you can take the 22 City bus to the Stockman Center, face the street, look over to the right, & there it is. So location is great.

Nothing. We look forward to staying there again.

The location was great on the edge of the old town, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The price was very good value for money.

The only thing I would have liked and didn't get as a guest was free use of the pool, this would probably have also prompted me to have a spa treatment.
