Quiter location overlooking the river. The Spa and pool facilities. That the staff did not explain that they had charged upon arrival for incidentals (Mini Bar), and that they would refund the difference on departure, it took me to ask why was there a difference in the price.

A young woman, named Ilita, who worked at the hotel, provided a friendship to us, here-to-fore onheard-of in the hotel industry...She spearheaded a staff that takes time to appreciate the traveling public....Hats off to Radisson Blu....... Nothing

Staff, service, facilities, comfort, pool and gym. In the first room we got at 5th floor was too hot even with opened window and a/c did not work in winter time. Noise outside - another problem because of opened window. But hotel solved problem quickly, changing the room.

Excellent value for money, quick reach from airport and nice walk to Old City crossing the river. Beautiful view if you have a riverside room.

I loved the location; the hotel provided great views of the picturesque city and the walk to the city centre was a perfect distance for us. We would much rather walk ten minutes in to the city to make use of the lovely views the hotel has to offer. The breakfats offering was also very good, and the fact it had leisure facilities. I did not find the staff friendly at all. I normally had to be the first one to smile at them before they then attempted a half smile back at me. During breakfast, the egg chef was replenishing the centre island of the brekfast and I was waiting at the brekfast station. She came out to bring out the new food for the central island, and continued replenishing the food and compeltely ignored the fact that I waiting at the egg station for her, looking at her! So I then had to approach her and ask if she could do me an omelette. To which she looked at me with a stern face and reluctantly made her way over to the station! I did not find this service friendly at all! In total I was waiting at the egg station for around 7 minutes whilst she ignored me!!! The air con in the room didn't appear to work. All 3 nights I was sleeping there I woke up in the middle of the night (1am) and had to open the room tot he corrdior and waft some cold air in the room. On the second and third night I had to elave the window open all night because the air con was not working at all (even with all windows and doors closed).

My son and daughter in-law picked me up from the airport and were with me at the reception at check-in. While I registered another receptionist came forward with a small duplo set and gave it to my 3 year old grandson. A lovely gesture! I loved the step in the room and the lay- out. The concept of Business class is great; WiFi was immediately available and the Nespresso machine is much appreciated. Gym and Spa are clean and the girl at the counter was very friendly. The breakfast was excellent and items were quickly replenished; in fact I invited an extra guest one morning to join me for bf. Appreciated that we could order coffee from the machine, as the filter coffee was too weak for me. Great view! (#307) I would have loved a proper black-out curtain. Needed to take 10.- from reception for a taxi, as I hadn't changed money yet and was charged 2% on this amount; a bit petty I thought, but then again, P&P is P&P. All good!

Breakfast. Beds are so bad you cant sleep at all. Pillows and blankets are very cheap and very uncomfortable. Rooms extremly outdated. This hotel is by far the worst Radisson I've been at. If you want comfort and class don't stop here ever.

Everything Sometimes just a little slow on reception, if you want service and people are checking in or out. The reception staff though, as were all the other staff in the hotel, were very good,

Staff is very friendly and helpful, good breakfast, not far from airport. Expensive parking, quite often there are corporate evenings- during this time restaurant and bar are almost unavailable for other guests.

That they gave me a riverside room anyway. That I asked for an expresso at breakfast and they just forgot. Not intentionally I´m sure but it wasn´t that busy. Maybe it was my lack of Latvian.

Location is at the moment only good thing there Bathrooms...paint on the doors become yellow already, there was fungus (mold) in every corner of shower paddling. Definitely, they need to renovate this hotel asap, as for same money You could stay in Riga in much better hotels, with much more in same ****.

Very good breakfast, possibility to use their indoor swimming pool, sauna and gym for free, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Could not find out if it was possible to lock adults TV channels. Initially, they are not available for watching, but it is easy to open them by entering your room number from remote control. So children can activate them by themselves.

Good gym and pool facilities available for guests. Friendly service also in english. The bridge to old town was windy and slippery at this time of year (nice views especially in the evenings though). The view from the rooms at the back of the building is something of a reminder of Soviet times...

"More, than expected": * Electric kettle, cups wiith coffee 3-in-1, tea and sugar in room, resupplied daily. Two thumbs up! * Free shuttle bus to Riga old city each hour. Booked "double room" and got a room with a big bed and two mattresses. It's quite uncomfortable to sleep together when you fall between the mattress...

Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and wellness center. The hotel is just across the bridge from the old town. Separate saunas for men and women in the wellness center - not convenient if you plan a romantic SPA holiday :)
