Bed was ok on the other side but other side was super bad, my boyfriend rolled out of bed a couple if times because of that....
Breakfast was good and we could still have food by check out at 12!!

Had to wait when water gets warm. Very cold floor in the bathroom. Room was also sometimes cold, with central heating seasonally switched off and chilling weather outside (the heater didn't help much). We didn't have hairdryer and towels (I guess we would have if asked for it, but we had our own). Some trouble with wi-fi. Location is a bit far from old town if go by foot.
Pretty-looking hotel! Value for money (mind that we got 'smart deal' option) - great breakfast, cosy bed, a lot of shops nearby. Easy-to-access public transport to different areas.

It was really cold in the room, we had only 3 little towels for 2 adults and one child. In the bathroom was clogged drain, it was really unpleasant! I was waiting for 10 minutes or more at the reception desk to pay my bill, no one came and I was forced to look for someone in the storeroom.
Good location, good car parking.

The major problem of my experience at Rafael hotel is that there was no hot water. My boyfriend and I stayed for 3 nights and every single day we had to shower with ice-cold water and I mean it...ice cold water. Also, for the Easter morning the staff didn't take proper care of the breakfast. There was no bread and no milk, so my boyfriend actually went to the store which was right around the corner to buy milk and bread for guests to be able to have breakfast. I think the staff could have made this gesture instead, or just make sure that there is at least enough bread. Other than that the hotel experience was nice and the value for money is good.
The room was very nice, we had a nice view. There was a heater which we could use, and also a fridge. The staff was also able to print my boarding pass. The breakfast was very good 2 out of 3 days. The overall experience was good.

Wi-Fi didn't work from time to time. A bit far from city centre.
Staff was great-always helpful. On the last day we had to check out before 8 and we did get breakfast only for us as the breakfast is served normally later - thank you.

VERY kind reception etc!

Breakfast was dissapointing. Hot water in the shower started only after running it for ~5 min.
Good wifi and private parking
March 26, 2015
A bunch of young people were shouting and running all over hotel all night long, there was NO hot water neither in the evening, non in the morning, and no discount or apology for that! Rooms are very cold, we visited Riga in the end of march, but in the room it was nearly as cold as outside. Economy rooms are much smaller then they appear in photos. When we arrived at 6pm, they said there is no parking space left for us, and we were not informed that we should reserve one, so we had to look for other paid parking place. Even if this hotel is cheap, it is really not 3 stars.
I liked the comfortable bed and very nice breakfast
March 25, 2015
Very noisy room (ground floor), no hot water (problems with boiler or so), parking was not available due to many guests.
Good location, dogs allowed (5euro).

The shower is installed into the wall so it is impossible to wash the child (like regular bathing without head washing).
Very nice personal with 24h desk. Quite low prices for stay.

Rather than stuff I didn't enjoy anything. The room smelled of old pipes, it's like all the time like toilet. Second thing - it was dirty. Felt like nobody cleaned there. Hair in the bathroom I discovered next morning. In the morning, I bonded with one girl, and she was complaining about bad internet.
Staff girls were really nice and helped.
