The girl who is at reception; she was talking like she is the customer and we are the employee. We walked around to find hotel more than 1 hour. After we went inside, she told that they canceled our booking and offered to transfer sister hotel which is across the river. Of course we told "No, thanks". If we wanted to stay away from city than we would book such hotel. So, we just fooled that they have 4 stars which I believe they deserve none of them.

Really nice small hotel, room was good, lovely breakfast place, yoummy croinssants, good price (special offer) and comfortable distance to Riga center.

Not good smell in corridors, some small details were annoying: not working TV set (was fixed later); two times the door lock was bloked; water in the bathroom were not hot (was fixed later); the recepcionist was unable to serve beer at one evening in the lobby bar; cold cofe. The personnel are not very skilled.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean room of normal size, reasonable prices in minibar, everything works properly, good location.

1. Street view from the window (ugly buildings on the opposite side of the street. 2. I asked for sugar substitute during the breakfast. The answer was: "Better drink unsweetened. This is a poison and we do not have it." Actually, they should leave me and the other who people can't eat sugar the right to decide themselves what is poison.

Great staff, very clean hotel, a variety of breakfast. Definitely would visit again this hotel.

I liked everything: the atmosphere, friendly stuff, comfortable room, good location, nourishing breakfast and so on.

The price for the room was very low - about 25 euro for single room. Breakfast was nice, even the espresso is paid extra.

My room was changed 2x, because of non made up after previous guests. There vere cold in the room, because of switched of heater in default. Impossible to take a bath - non drinkable visibly brown water with pieces of iron in it. The water was brown even after 20 minutes of full floating! I did not see that anywhere else in the world. In tv there were only 5 poor quality Russian programs and 2 lithuanian.

Perfect hotel !!! Recommend to everyone.

Breakfast

The room was cozy and well-furnished. The bathroom was 100% clean and equipped with big mirror (very useful). The omlette for breakfast was excellent - I've never tasted such a good one anywhere in other hotels. Only at home, when I cook it by myself.

It takes ~ 20-25 minutes by foot to reach city center. Such a walk is not a joy when the weather is bad.

Rusty water-I do not know if it is safely drink that water even boiled; no kettle in the room; cleaning person burst into the room to complete mini bar at the wrong time, although we asked her not to enter; service kitchen - can not keep up with the dishes on the table topping Swedish, and cleared out the tables and sometimes there was one person, sometimes two-major bottleneck - the kitchen staff; hotel receptionists: a completely different level of customer orientation - a person well versed in the possibilities of extending the reservation, but other receptionists: nothing is possible - fully booked - two totally different information from two recepcionist from one hotel;
