We really appreciated the low coat and good location of the red roofs hostel. The hotel rooms are cold. I asked about this and I was told that The city has a policy to not turn on the boilers in winter until it has been less than 3 degrees C for three days. I was offered a space heater however. |

If I don't count the all the times drunk and very noisy next door Germans, the room was good. Location is at the very center, can be found easily. Everything was clean. There was a tv in the room, first time I see a tv in a dorm room. The 10 beds dorm is actually is not 10 beds, there is a door that opens to the next room, so this room, for me, is a 14 beds dorm. |

The location was very central, hotel staff was friendly, room was clean; excellent for a weekend break. The food selection for breakfast was quite limited, but otherwise the food was good and plenty. |

Location is super, right in the middle of Old Town. Take airport shuttle into town, get off at Riga Hotel, short walk and you're there. Close to nice shopping arcade with grocery store. I had a single en suite room: There were no flat surfaces (except the floor and one small nightstand) in the room to put your stuff on. Common US-to-round power adapter didn't work in new type of power outlets, staff lent me a power strip that worked. |

The hostel is in the heart of the old town; St Peter's Church is just around the corner. Yet it is rather quiet at night. I guess business must be bad, as I stayed in the 10-bed dorm room for two nights and I was the only guest in the room all along. They also have a computer downstairs with internet access free for the guests to use. |

Staff was really nice - for instance, helpful to give advise non related to the hotel, even in the middle of the night. // Room was clean and equipped with what was needed // Good value. Breakfast was not really impressive. |

Value for money is really good! Quiet hostel and quiet street in the city center. Nice stuff, self-service breakfast. We could usually smell what dish are they making in the kitchen, though we lived on the 3rd floor. And I'd wish there would be a TV. |

Excellent location! Very Quiet. Cozy breafast coffee room with flat TV screen! Cozy Place. If you stay out of season, you may get a dorm room to yourself... Room could be warmrerbut I just used 2 blankets... The shower room was a bit small, but you can lock the whole bathroom. |
