We enjoyed the breakfast. Toast, coffee or tea, eggs, juice... a good start. We asked for a room upstairs, a bit of a walk because the guesthouse does not have stairs, but the room was very quiet. Note to some, no shower or toilet in some rooms, but they were very clean. About 10-15 min walk from the city. |

It was an interesting part of town, though a little far off the beaten path. They had one computer with an internet connection, which, thankfully, was mostly available. Later in my trip, I stayed at another hotel in Old Town for about the same price, and that hotel had a very well laid out breakfast in the morning. The breakfast at Lenz was not remotely consistent. Again, the location made for good sight seeing, but not too easy if you didnt want to spend a lot of money on cabs late at night. A safe, but mostly too quiet part of town. |

welcoming staff, twin room is OK size wise, clean and tidy, the location is close to the nice art nouvo area, though the area around the hotel is a bit chearless. Disappointing things: bad smell in the bathroom, no elevator (which is tough when you have to climb 4th floor with your suitcase). I would also suggest to hang a mirror in each room, at least half body size (there is none currently) |

Excellent location near the old town, dedicated and friendly staff, free wireless internet in rooms, economical price, individal rooms Finding the hotel was a bit difficult and driving there was a bit of a bother (in the middle of a maze of one-way streets). A hint: take right from Pulkveze thru a gateway to Mednieku, continue to Strelnieku and turn left to Lencu, hotel door is first one on the left). Breakfast (=coffee, tea, juice, toast, eggs, jam, frankfurters, morning cereals) was simple, although there was plenty of it. |

Staff are helpful and friendly. There is a shared kitchen which always comes in handy to make a cut of coffee or to prepare a meal. Wireless LAN works really well in this hotel. Excellent choice for solo travellers! This isn't really a problem but having your clothes washed there is bit costly. 1 bag (about 5kg) costs 5 LVL. |

The staff is friendly and the place is clean. There is a shared kitchen available, which is great for backpacking. Check how many rooms share the same bathroom before you go. It was not an issue in late October, but we noticed only one bathroom on our stairs, this may be inconvenient in a busy season. |
