The staff is friendly and the place is clean. There is a shared kitchen available, which is great for backpacking. Check how many rooms share the same bathroom before you go. It was not an issue in late October, but we noticed only one bathroom on our stairs, this may be inconvenient in a busy season. |

It's a little way from the old city (about 15 minutes walk to the edge) but is in the middle of the Art Nouveau area which was really good. The staff were lovely, very friendly and went out of their way to help. Breakfast was good too. Read the room descriptions carefully - some of the doubles have shared bathroom/toilet which was a surprise. I thought I had booked a room with private facilities, but apparently not! The bathroom and toilet were only shared with one other room, so no problems with them being available when needed, but was a surprise when I arrived. |

It's very beautiful and cosy hotel. We took a room for 4 people and the was a bathroom which we had to share with other rooms. But there were no problems about it. It was really very good stay. |

Extremely nice and friendly staff.Spacious and clean room,good kitchen.Stayed in 4 persons room to be prepared for next days Riga marathon,and it was the perfect place to stay. |

For a large family (3 children) it was perfect for us to stay in the family room -- the bedroom for us, and two very comfy cots in the "living" room. They even provided a cot for our toddler with an adorable elephant pillow and blanket -- she loved it! It isn't a fancy accommodation, just the basics. We actually like places like this with "character". The staff was young and very welcoming. The breakfast wasn't great. Corn flakes, sliced fresh cucumbers, cheese and toast. I think they really could use a real coffee maker -- instant coffee is just not civilized. |
