The 4-star Maritim Park Hotel Riga is located next to the picturesque Victory Park, 1.4 miles from the city’s Old Town.
Score from 1282 reviews Very good
Located in a quiet street in the centre of Riga, Central Hostel is just a 10-minute walk from the Old Town. It offers heated rooms. Free Wi-Fi access is available in the entire building.
Score from 701 reviews Excellent
The small and comfortable Hotel Kert offers a peaceful and comfortable accommodation in a quiet location in the center of the city of Riga.
Score from 96 reviews Excellent
Genuinely kind and professional staff (who spoke excellent English), fast & consistent wifi, clean stylish rooms, and easy fifteen minute walk to Old Town + bus station
Good location, nice price, very clean room, friendly hotel stuff
view from room window...
Sauna, price, location
small room, breakfast and sauna cost ekstra. (but its worth it)
- quality for the value - room condition in total - wifi connection
- one key for two persons and no chance for the second - somebody tried to enter to my room during the night and reception cannot help - poor choice and quality of the breakfast - no warranty for the car park (you have to sign a document where you knowledge that fact before leaving a car for the night) - I was pressed to pay for the room before I entered it
Unfortunately, no praise for what
Bad location. The noise from the street by passing cars (hotel is near of one of busy street). The room has the stench of cigarette smoke. The bed designed special for Yogis... The mattress was hard like the Soviet Union train bunk. In the future I would not stay there again.
The staff working there was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was great and newly renovated and the room with the working air condition , blissful thing in the heat of the summer. Also parking available on site. Great value for money
tv was small and only 3 channels
very beautiful and new bathroom, quiet at night, private safe in the room
bit of a walk to the city center, no water kettle in the room, TV had only 4 channels
Room was great, neat and comfortable, with newly refurbished bathroom, everything clean. All staff we met was friendly and helpful, ready to help and recommend where to go in the city. About 15 min walk from city centre. Definitely would recommend for both leisure and business stay.
The staff was really helpful and nice. They answered all my questions and even called to order a pizza for me, that's awesome service.
Real double bed. Fast WiFi. Clean and comfortable room. Easy walk to old town and station.
No tea-and-coffee-making facilities. No fridge. No English channels on TV. Breakfast could be better.
Lack of tv programs showing the Mundial!!! Cost/value
Comfort, location, cleanliness, facilities, wifi, etc.
The rooms are adequate and the breakfast, an additional 5 Euro, was good.
Incredible vacation mistake! The hard-working staff of the Riverside Hotel was unable to compensate for the worst management I have encountered in my recent six nation travels. Built around the concept of the “one-time guest,” the Riverside lacks the business model catering to customer satisfaction. It is marginally fit for Western guests. The management has no concept of building a “repeat customer” base, and attempts to squeeze money from its guest services to the maximum extent possible to reap the financial benefits from its customer’s pockets-- Now. The hotel is well outside the city center. There are no eateries, bars, coffee shops, or shopping in the vicinity of the Riverside Hotel. A cab ride is required each and every time its guests would like to reach a meaningful part of town. The area is of questionable safety for travelling at night outside of a group; there are drunks passed-out, sleeping, or still drinking at the many bus stops, tunnels, and parks between the city center and Riverside. Its collection system is archaic and inconvenient. Upon checking in the Riverside Hotel counter, I was informed that the credit card machine was broken and I would be held responsible for daily payments in cash. The hotel’s inadequacy became my responsibility as I was forced to visit the bank machine (ATM) to pay the bill daily. Additionally, after having the manager contact me, a portion of the staff was “less than friendly” for the remainder of my stay. There was a single English speaking television channel—BBC news; additionally, many of the music videos were in English, if that counts…. Finally, the hotel is overpriced. At 32.50 Euro per night during the week with a price increase to 49.50 Euro on the weekend, I failed to see the value. I have stayed at hotels in the same price range much closer to the City Center that are cleaner, nicer, and much more convenient. Although the management boasts recognition by major travel firms, I am unconvinced.
It was really nice to stay here! The indication to get to the hotel are very very useful. The hotel is very close to the center. The staff is extremely friendly and useful. It's very clean. The hotel is nicer than some hotels of 4 stars!
Friendly and helpful staff.
the only nice thing that they have beautiful girls who working there.
the bed and pillows are very old and very uncomfortable.
Good communication (by public transport), not far away from the city center: 10-15 min on foot. Nice new hotel, clean rooms, spacious guarded parking lot (2 EUR/day). Overall impression: good value for money.
The surroundings. Twin room was rather small (if to consider for two people). Although it was promised to work, the WiFi signal was too poor in the 4th floor to have the internet running.
nice hotel, not far from the city center and bus stop to the airport
Extremely friendly staff, clean rooms, new hotel.
It is located in a dodgy part of Riga, but it's not far from the centre. The central market is on the way - perfect to get some breakfast.
Good bathroom, 15 minutes avay from center.
Barking dog on the parkin whole night long, no minibar
Quiet area, very good breakfast, helpful staff, good WIFI signal ;)
Location is 15 min walk From the Old Town. Have to pass the bus station, central market, which are not the best places to walk, especially at night. During the day its fine.
No escalators to higher floors
Bad and dangerous localitation. Unfriendly staff. I wont come back
