Score from 1328 reviews Excellent
Near to the centre and central station.
Only one quite small bed with only one blanket for two persons makes it impossible to sleep there.
Close to old town. Good breakfast.
No air conditioning. Hotel is on one of main streets , a little noisy.
Kadun äänet kuuluvat yöllä huoneeseen.
very Close to the railway Station and old town
Noisy - a big street and crossing is under the window
- may be hot in summer (no Aircon)
Just across the street from airportbus, train and busstation. Full breakfastbuffet.
- Bad smell from the toilet. - No air conditioning. - Noisy street outside - Elevator sometimes can be broken - Your label "please make up the room" can wait for the whole day, nobody comes - baggage can be left only for extra fee - Breakfast juice reminds me instant chemical juice from 90's
Convenient location Clean room Smiling staff
No air condition
Good location ( 2 m from main train station, 10 to Bus station ). City center and main at attractions at 10 minutes walking.
Breakfast is not good at all ( not much variety and food looking really bad). Stuff is not so kind. Hotel itself a bit ugly ( antiquated and horrible colors ( reception and entrance room really ugly and dark).
location near train station
no air condition - in hot summer this is problematic breakfast too bland...
Great location just near the Origo centre, breakfast It was possible to check in before 14:00.
No air conditioner and no jalousie (hard to stay on the 6th floor in the summer because of the mansard windows, when the sun heats the whole room and it gets very hot and stuffily in the room)
Excellent wifi, very clean apart from the rooms with old carpet.
The receptionist who checked us in was rude (tho others were nicer). Allocated us to a hot noisy room with a carpet which was a sea of all sorts of smelly stains. One of us went down to change rooms and she said hotel was full. Then another one of us went down and complained again, so they showed us two other rooms to choose from - huh??? So moved rooms to one with a new carpet but so hot like a sauna (no fans left) and so noisy that if you opened the window it was like sleeping on a roundabout. Location is central but literally gets all the wild bikers who like to zoom round Riga in the small hours. Have stayed here many times over the years but this hotel has not kept up with the times and they need a total refurbishment with air con and triple glazing. Back to the USSR in terms of colour schemes, service and awful breakfast. Find a better hotel for same money!
Great location. Good breakfast. Wifi
Traffiic noice. No aircon or fan
Everything was O.K
It is located right in the city centre.
The carpet in the room is old and dirty. The walls in the room are not clean. There were some stains on the walls. The room has no airconditioning, but only an electrical fan. It was very hot.
Good location and breakfast.
Hot and noisy room, no A/C. Smelly room and bathroom (used to be a smoking room I guess). Staff not friendly.
good place, good prise.
Had to go to a bar on the opposite side off the street to get some juice or sodapop on Sunday evening for bringing to my hotelroom!
Good location, helpful staff and well cleaned room.
No air conditioning. Breakfast was a struggle to get seated.
The location is very good and close to the central station, the bus terminals, and the sights. There are many shops and restaurants surrounding it. I also liked my bed because it's big for a solo traveler (3 person-bed) and the Wifi is good. The receptionist was also kind and helpful.
My room was at the second floor and facing the main road, so it was very noisy at night. The bathroom and shelves are dusty and not clean enough. There's a strange smell, so I highly recommend that air freshener be used. And oh, the breakfast-- variety was okay, but the quality is not.
The location - right next to a supermarket (Stockmann) and major transport links, OK breakfast although a little more quality rather than quantity would have been preferred.
The room was too hot but too noisy with the windows open, as it faced a busy road. The shower screen had mildew on it, and the carpet needed a clean. Also, all the TV channels were in Russian.
Breakfast and helpful staff.
hot day, not your fault. window didn't open far enough. curtain didn't cover the window - too much light, and lots of street noise.
Mostly every thing....location,breakfast,rooms,excellect reception etc.
Executives are reluctent to speak in English !
Good location, receptionist was helpful
Excellent location with close proximity to International Coach Station and the old town. Breakfast is good too.
