Important: all our rooms are non-smoking rooms - smoking is not allowed in our rooms! We apologise for inconveniences this might cause, however there are no exceptions to this rule.
The rooms have a TV with satellite channels including news (BBC, CNN, Euronews), cartoon channels and movie channels.
Most of our rooms have small refrigerators for your convenience.
Other facilities in the area are: Olympic Sports Center, Skonto Exibition Hall and other.
The Old Town (historical part of Riga) is 5 minutes away by car from hotel (if no traffic jams on streets) or abot 25 minutes of rather slow walking (we will show you the most scenic ways to get to old town - walking through Jugendstile Riga!)
The Old Town has it all - restaurants, entertainment, museums, concerts!

Staff was friendly; we arrived few hours earlier and were able to check in and get a room; rooms equipped with a fridge. Quite far away from the city centre (30 min walk) and no public transportation nearby. |

Nice and helpful staff, quiet location, cheap, close to Riga Arena You get what you pay, don't expect much from cheap hotels. Room was cold, poor breakfast. I heard the snoring from a neighboring room :) |

We went to Riga to watch a concert at Arena Riga and I chose this hotel because it was closest to the stadium. Not too far from the center of the city, all in all it's a nice hotel. It was extremely cold in the bathroom. |

I like very much its comfort in room, space and calm the walls was very thick and i heard everything that happened in other rooms so it was very noisy and yhe hotel situated a long way off the centre city |

Good price for money, the hotel is nice and clean. Nice staff and good infrastructure although it is far from the city center - but it is ok if you go by car. |

Good price, Good reception & staffs, Good Breakfast, Free parking zone. Little far from old city center. Hotel is in Factory area, so the around views are not good. WIFI doesn't work in my room. There're no place to eat or drink around hotel. You should go to city center to eat or buy something(it take's 5 min by car or 30min by walk). |

Friendly staff, tidy room, location in quiet place not too far from the city center, late breakfast on week-ends, internet in all rooms, parking. Would definitely stay at Hotel Skanste again. |

Clean, very quiet and rather comfortable. Good location within 20 minutes walk to the very downtown and main city attractions. The breakfast is not very rich yet quite satisfactory. Stayed in the hotel 4 times and satisfied. Very good quality for money. |

The rooms are big and very clean the breakfast good the staff very friendly and willing to help space for safe parking in the place of the hotel You cant walk to the town You have to take a bus or a taxi that was not expensive there is no lift |

The very friendly staff, free internet and quiet neighbourhood.The rooms have even an small coolbox. The location however is an bit out of town, aboud 30 minutes walking or the use of the busses N° 3 and 11. |

Room's equipment - refrigerator, big closet. Nice reception staff. No lift, rude kitchen staff, long distance to old town - 30 min on foot. Dirty, old bathroom's equipment. |

Hotel staff was friendly, room was simple, but clean and tidy. Breakfast is included into room rate and rather good taking into consideration price you pay. Good place to stay if you are on a budget and don't mind walking for half an hour to get to the city center. Sound insulation isn't great, so I could hear the guests getting back late after night out in the city. |
