Newly opened in April 2010, Tallink Hotel Riga offers elegant, air conditioned rooms and free Wi-Fi. Riga's historic Old Town and the Latvian National Opera are only 1700 ft away. Latvian and international dishes, as well as daily breakfast buffet, are served in the stylish restaurant Elements. Snacks and drinks are available in the cafe Balanss. All rooms at the Tallink Riga offer satellite TV, a minibar, and a modern bathroom with a hairdryer. A Finnish sauna and a jacuzzi can be used free of charge in the morning. Facilities also include a fitness room and a beauty parlor. Private underground parking is available on site. The Central Train Station and the International Bus Station are only a short walk away. I liked that the staff was so helpfull and friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean and the decor was romantic. The distance from the hotel to the shopping mall was close. You could walk to three major shopping malls and if you wanted to take the bus the station was right outside the door of the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to others. Oh yes, let me not forget to mention the breakfast it was just wonderful. There was nothing that we did not enjoy, we had a pleasent stay.

Nice hotel for its money. The room was cosy with all new equipment. I also liked warm floor in the bathroom - no need to take on shoes when going there :) Nice breakfast. The room was quite small though nice.

Excellent hotel! New and fresh design! It has a very, very good style. Experienced staff. They were so kind and helpful - I don't remember any negative emotion on their faces. Everything was great. We had separate beds, just moved together. There was no chance to get a family bed.

Everything was of great value! My girlfriend had birthday on one of days we stayed there and I asked to organize some "gifts" for her - roses, fruits and wine in the morning to the room. All was done perfectly and on time! Thanks! Maybe only sauna which is included to room price but only available in mornings at the same time as breakfast... It's not useful for me and many others to go to sauna in the morning or to wake up specially one hour earlier to go there before breakfast.

Hotel is very close to Railway station and city center.It was built in 2010 so rooms & everything is new and nice-looking. There is a free morning sauna on ground level (very cool). Breakfast is ok.

My favorite hotel in Riga. Contemporary design, heated bathroom floor, soft beds, nice TV, wide range breakfast buffet, great staff.Rooms a bit small, but cosy. Excellent value!

Staff was very friendly, very good breakfast, the rooms were very tidy and clean, comfortable beds, a nice modern bathroom, A ++ The opening hours of the sauna were too limited. It was not adjusted to people who spent their whole day in the city. They do not have the oppotunity to use the accomodation.

Great food, room cleaning every day,it was comfortable and very quiet. The hotel is situated in center, about 200 m to the railway and about 500 to the bus stations. Small rooms.

Our last stay at the Tallink hotel was somewhat marred by an indifferant staff attitude, since then though the management must have taken on this problem as we were treated to a very pleasant and enjoyable stay over the New Year period. Well done. We would certainly recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Riga.

Location and value for money is very ok. Hotel is still quite new and most of the things working. Water in the shower didn't go down, not the first time. As hotel was almost fully booked, breakfast was like saga: no place to sit and food was out of choices.

Clean nice stylish )) good location .. I recommend we got good pricing also on booking .com stuff welcoming breakfast is rich and nice restaurant area also Parking was a bit interesting combination of tiny driveway and small elevator down to the basement , but once again parking was warm ... so no unloading in rush or the bad weather.. but if you plan to drive in and out more than 3 or 4 times a day - might be little inconvenient. small gym - none one use it really sauna in the morning available for free till 10 only - so either you eat breakfast or go to sauna)) in the evening it might be reserved for some celebrations.. so better double chek

Very nice beds in the rooms - we slept like two babies. The staff at the reception is very helpful. We arrived well before 11:00 am but they were eager to check us in and give us any of the rooms that were available. It was a bit rainy in Riga and we asked for an umbrella - absolutely no problem with that. The drainage in the shower was not functioning properly - it seemed to have been blocked with something. It was our third stay at the hotel and the second time we had that problem. It gets fixed after you inform the reception, though.
