This charming hotel is located in the very center of the picturesque, small town of Talsi in Northern Courland, next to Vilkumuiza Lake. Hotel Talsi offers comfortable rooms and spacious suites with a Jacuzzi. The restaurant serves a wide variety of tasty dishes and has beautiful lake views. There are also 2 conference rooms for up to 40 people. It's pretty basic and is like the old style hotels of the 1980-1990 here in the UK. The internet only works on the first/second floor,and there is no night life In this town at this time of year (November) after 7pm you will see no one outside except for the odd car. It's a very quite town to stay in, the hotel is based by a lake so maybe in the summer it would be good to stay a few days to explore. We stayed as we passed through on business just for one night.

Poco Rapporto qualità prezzo non buono considerando I prezzi di mercato nella stessa nazione (a Riga)! Tuttavia si tratta dell'unico hotel a Talsi prenotabile in anticipo tramite internet (esiste un altro piccolo hotel, ma in rete non c'è traccia oppure è molto difficile da trovare). Camere sufficienti

Daß man nach 20 Uhr noch einchecken konnte (um 20 Uhr 30), was im ländlichen Raum im Baltikum nicht überall möglich ist. Daß das Restaurant nicht zum Hotel gehört und man das Frühstück nur auf Bons erhält, das Abendessen getrennt bezahlen muß, die Zimmer keine Balkons und keine Fliegen- bzw. Mückennetze haben, weder Seife, noch Shampoo im Bad angeboten werden, der Parkplatz nicht eingezäunt und unbewacht ist.

Die gebuchten Zimmer wraen alle bestens in Ordnung und es wurde korrekt mit uns abgerechnet. Die Preise im Restaurant waren bestens, die Anreichung der Speisen und Getränke klappte nicht ganz so toll, weil lediglich eine, aber sehr nette junge Dame für uns 9 Personen mit vielen Extrawünschen zur Verfügung stand. Lage am See Teppich im Zimmer, renovierungsbedürftige Einrichtung (besonders Bad), wenig Fernsehprogramme, wlan funktioniert nur in der Hotellobby und ist darüber hinaus kostenpflichtig
