Corridors leading to the bedrooms where dark. No towel hangers in the bathrooms, huge yeti size pillows in the bedrooms.

we lived in lux on the 5 th floor, but in the morning we waited for half and hour to take a shower and we failed. but the stuff was very good and they made us a small present

Very very cozy hotel, beautiful restourant with breakfast and supper included in the common bill, lobby with table games, books and wi-fi, tea and coffee free 24 h. Good location. Friendly staff. We stayed in this hotel several times.

The staff is very professional, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast and evening meals are very tasty.

The wi-fi signal is not always stable in the room, it works perfectly in the loby

This is wonderful, charming, cozy hotel situated in the wonderful building with the plenty of original features in the very centre of the stunning city of Riga, right in the Art Nouveau district of Riga. This hotel is definitely the first best place for staying in Riga! Of course, you should realise that this is not a 5 star hotel, but apart from that everything about this hotel is top notch! The most essential thing is that you are feeling in it like at home!!! Even its rooms do not look like ordinary hotel rooms, while you are in the hotel you have strong feeling that this is not a hotel but probably the home of your best friend where you are staying with... And what about authentic Latvian dishes that are served not only every morning but also every evening and also from 3 to 5 pm (as tees and snacks)! And what is more attractive that all these additional options are included in the original hotel price which is very moderate in any case! All in all, this is the best hotel for sure in Riga and also one of the best hotels which I have ever stayed in (and please trust me that I usually stay in 4 and 5 star hotels. However, after my last travel to Riga I am slightly confused since I am not sure which hotel I was most impressed with: Roma Cavaliery (Hilton) that my wife and I have recently stayed in, or this wonderful and exceptional hotel Clarion Collection Hotel Valdemars!!

Water temperature in the shower was hard to adjust- it was either too hot or too cold.

Free coffee, tea and fruits all the time. Sauna and gym.

The sheets of my bed, had a weird smell. I had to ask to get them changed.

There is no car parking in the courtyard of hotel! We have had to driving around the block for park our car in the closed parking according the "map" that we received at the reception. The decoration of the room is too simple, the furniture is old.

Amazing breakfast and dinner!!!! Very friendly and helpful stuff!!! Very good location and comfortable rooms!!! Excellent price!!!! =) If you want to spend holidays in Riga, you should stay at Clarion Collection Hotel Valdemars, and this holidays will be unbelivable!!! =)

Nice, clean, comfortable hotel. Good value- price of room included Breakfast, Dinner, and afternoon Tea/coffee and cake and still worked out cheaper than other 3* and potentially comparable 4* hotels. Food was pretty good and regularly kept replenished Friendly staff always happy to help.

There was a problem with the water in the hotel on our last night/morning- it had to be turned off in a number of rooms inlcuding ours. The staff did deal with this well, giving us access to a spare room so we could shower but it was not ideal. We also had £20 knocked off the cost for the room for that night without asking which was good.

The food, whilst generally very good quality, was not kept hot enough in 2 out of the 3 chafing dish food warmers.

The staff was very attentive and accommodating, rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable, buffet dinner was just excellent!

Location, it's about 10 min walk to the old town which is not so nice on cold and windy winter day.

A complimentary snack meal given on our late arrival in the evening. Free coffee and tea when required. Relaxed atmosphere. Very helpful staff. Only five minutes walk to Riga Old Town. Food was good, plenty of choice. Clean, spacious rooms. Quiet.

I enjoyed the whole experience of my stay at this hotel. There was easy access to all the sights of Riga, in particular the Art Nouveau area. The room was very acceptable and quiet. Breakfast, afternoon tea and supper as well as availability of hot drinks made this an excellent choice for a city trip to Riga and great value for money Staff were extremely helpful, particularly the barman Inters who went the extra mile

Great place to stay in Riga, very close to all major spots in the city, nice neighborhood and excellent staff, rooms are ok, I can recommend everyone to go visit Riga and stay in this hotel.
