Location, perfect breakfast.

Everything about the hotel was fun - the decor, the breakfast room, the cleanliness and especially the staff.

The bed was too hard and the pillows were a little too soft. Otherwise, a great place to stay in Liepaja!

Clean, friendly, flexible and breakfast was awesome.

Good internet, Very calm hotel, placed in the center of the city, safe.

Wonderful location, friendly staff, ideal cleanliness, comfortable bed. The small fridge in the room was helpful yet quite noisy. The bathroom was really cozy, clean and convenient, and that means a lot if you know what I mean. The walls are massive and don't leave the impression of carton fence. Indeed the hotel was not overcrowded then, however we heard no neighbors and no outside noise.

Te breakfast was good and really gave rather wide choice of food, however the taste left some space for improvement. I'd rate it 8/10.

Small clean and stylish hotel, located in a rather quite place in the centre part of the town. Breakfast is not bad at all, given the price of stay.

Poor sound isolation between rooms, some drawbacks in a bathroom but these are widespread problems.

Small duvets for two people, instead of two small, use one large one. The whole place is quite cold, particularly the bathroom and there appeared no way to control heat in the room. But small things!

Beautiful 150 years old building in the heart of Liepaja with perfectly matching interior, giving you a feeling of staying in an private house rather than in a hotel - in the best sense. Parking in the yard, very convenient. Very helpful staff, also the possibility to make tea or coffee at any time of the day is really cool.

Bathroom could be a little better lighted. The old staircase to the second floor - very authentic although not too comfortable if you have to carry a heavy suitcase. But the owner himself helped me carry it so that was ok too.

It was my fourth stay at the Vilhelmine. The rooms are spacious, cozy and clean. Breakfast is complete. The city center is only 5 min. walk away. The beach is about 700 m. form the hotel. Good internet connection. Free parking.

TV is only for Russians, exception made for CNN. There must be more attention for details: refrigerator was not plugged in, the door from the refrigerator case got loose. At a simple request the problem is solved immediately, but these problems could be prevented during the cleaning of the room. But these small details will not prevent me to stay in Vilhelmine on my next visit to Liepaja

Everything....the friendly and helpful staff, the wonderful breakfast, the great shower, free WiFi, and all the modern conveniences in a historical building. All that, and it was close to the city center and the beach.

We would have liked a softer bed but haven't found one so far anywhere in the Baltic.

Breakfast was perfect !!!

We lived in non smoking room Nr.5 but seems to be as smoked. Smell was unpleasant...

Very friendly helpful staff; excellent breakfast; comfortable sunny room with good facilities; comfortable bed and frequent changes of linen; walking distance of town centre and beach.

No criticisms - but I have liked hotels which provided a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities in the room and where glasses in the room (bathroom and on drinks tray) were washed and replaced with clean when used. Just a minor suggestion.

Comfortable hotel in the centre of old Liepaja. Nice choice to stay for family with children as well for couples.

Nice and cozy apartment, located in the old town, in nice building. Beach is not far away.

Thin walls, you can hear whats happening in front of your room door :)

Superior double rooms are just perfect. So much space, relaxing, good warm interior. Good staff, good breakfast, no issues whatsoever. Really had wonderful time.

The first night we arrived, bathtubs sinkhole was clogged, but they quickly fixed it in the morning. The only downside of this hotel would be that the road going nearby is an old stone built road, so whenever the cars are driving by, the first time it may feel as if the plane is landing nearby. Windows fix this problem pretty well.

The staff was excellent and friendly. The hotel room was one of the best I have stayed in during my travels in Europe. The morning breakfast buffet was very good.
