Quietly located, just 3 km from the town of Kadaga, this log cabin-style guest house in the Vidzeme Forest features a country-style interior, traditional sauna, and free private parking. All individually furnished rooms at the Guest House Zimmerfrei feature a TV, seating area, and work desk. The living room has an open fireplace, bear-skin rug and wooden interiors. After enjoying the outside volleyball court, guests can relax in the sauna with indoor cooling pool. There is also a children’s playground with large swings. In good weather, barbecues can be enjoyed outside. The River Gauja is 100 metres from the Zimmerfrei Guest House. Riga International Airport is 40 km away. The Guest House is located very nice just 100m from the Gauja river in the middle of a pine forest. The Guest House is fairly new build, rooms are nicely designed and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful, and with english language their is no problem to communicate what we found to be very positive. A pitty that we didn't have more time to stay longer, it is ideal for 'taking a breath' and enjoy the beautiful latvian nature.

Its a really big territory with river. Swimming, barbeque are possible. Quite silent. The hotel is hard to find and in the middle of nowhere. The room floor was really sandy and the constructions are unfinished.

Отдыхали всем семейством-я,супруга и кроха сын.Отель нашли без проблем.Оригинально оформленный и удобный номер,выдали даже кроватку для грудничка.Отель новый.Приветливый персонал,хорошо говорят по русски,но с калоритным балтийским акцентом.Расположен в очень живописном месте-на берегу реки Гауя.Очень тихо,чисто,свежий воздух,сосновый лес,рядом несколько озер, по реке на моторке до моря 30мин.(мы по понятным причинам не поехали),в 5минутах езды неплохой ресторанчик.На территории отличный банный комплекс с бассейном,на краю обрыва японская баня (ее особенно рекомендуем)с красивым видом на реку.Есть даже баня "по черному"-но это на любителя.Отель подходит для отдыха с детьми и в компании друзей! Отсутствие собственного повара.Правда на первом этаже есть оборудованная кухня,где все что хочешь можешь приготовить сам.Мы готовили-пекли пиццу в специальной дровяной печи,которая там есть.

Surprisingly new and clean building, the room was big and clean and had airconditioning. Hot tub was excellent! The river is close enough for swimming, and has a sandy beach. Very good value for money! There's a common kitchen for guests with some tableware, but no pots or pans - these would be highly needed. Kitchens capacity may be inadequate if the guesthouse is full. Reservation of the hut tub was a bit fuzzy. The tap water had a strange smell and shower and kettle in our room were a bit rusty.
