Several things were not good and completely out of order.. The reception staff were so rude. I was visiting my friend to help her with her wedding preparation and I didn't see her for a long time, so we planned her to come to my hotel, so we can hang around the pool and bar areas, we needed to change as well, and I thought it won't be a problem if we use my room for it, plus I had some presents for her etc. the hotel staff asked her to leave her passport at the reception while she was in my room (not overnight!), which is fair enough if that's their rules, but they were calling the room all the time checking when we going to leave! They were hassling us every half hour or so, we couldn't relax at the pool as I was called to the reception to explain who she was etc. And when the new staff was on their shift we had to explain all over again, even when we got the permission from them.. I felt like I was being watched and judged all the time, even though I wore long dress in respect to the religious views in Morocco etc. The balcony was very dirty and after sitting on the chair on the balcony in my white dress one evening, it was really dirty.. Housekeeping wasn't regular, my room wasn't serviced for two days after I arrived.. Even that I asked them to come back later when they knocked on the door when I was getting out of the shower one morning.. There was no minibar in the room! Fair enough - not the most important thing for me, but to get basics, like water, would be nice - especially for 5 star hotel.. The furniture in the room and bar areas is really ran down, the shower was cold and would take a very long time to warm up.. There were several other errors with birds in the bar and breakfast area.. Dirty lift and the hotel just being empty.. No wonder.
The room was big, with relatively big balcony. Pool was nice, refreshing and the water didn't smell of chlorine at all. The barmen were nice and attentive in the pool area, and of course, alcoholic cocktails were really good.
