Family with 3 children of various ages, we enjoyed Marrakech immensely, largely thanks to the hotel. Pool was great and so was the Villa, tastefully done. Food in the restaurant was good for a hotel, and the waiting staff superbly helpful. Environment of gardens and water were well looked after and stunning.
A couple of minor negatives - the children's pool had some sharp bits in which meant my daughter had to wear her crocs and there was a missing drain cover near here which never got fixed whilst we were there. A couple of the reception staff weren't as helpful as the others but all the staff were really nice including the conierge.
Very friendly staff, decent food, nice rooms
This hotel was at a perfect location for me as I was visiting friends nearby. It is slightly outside of the town. The room are absolutely fantastic, over 2 or 3 storeys, two bathroom, sleeping four at least and a kitchen.
Asking for iron and board which never materialised. As the pool is right in the centre and when aqua aerobic starts, it is time for the earplugs.
The guys from Casa Artiste in the kids club did an amazing job playing with and taking care of our two girls, 4 and 6 years old. They were the reason we all had tears in our eyes when we had to leave the hotel after 6 wonderful days.
The food at the hotel was not very good and thats a shame as you cannot find anything else to eat in the area.
Positives: Location, quite from all the noise in the centre. Good size villa Nice clean decor The waiters and the guy by the pool were really friendly The excursions booked at the hotel to Ourika Valley was fun- although it was sold to you as a private excursion we had another van following us and joining us (with same guide), it was just as well that we made really good friends with them instead. The spa was good too
Majority of the time the food was a real let down along with the very slow service. We would of rated this resort a lot higher if it wasn't for an iphone going missing from the villa we were staying in- made us feel really uncomfortable that a staff (or another guest) had taken it. The smug receptionist in the afternoons wasn't that apologetic or helpful either most of the time his answer was "not our problem" "nothing manager can do" which I think for front line staff is really appalling, very bad costumer service- we seemed to have a common opinion of him with other guests too. We spoke to the manager who was apologetic and made it up by getting a birthday cake for one of us- it's just a shame that your holiday and birthday gets ruined by a thief.
the distance from car parking to villa
The villas were huge. Staff in the restaurant were always friendly. News Years Gala dinner was great fun.
The noise of the air conditioning/heater in the bedrooms.
Big room with kitchen and comfy beds, free shuttle to the city center.
They charge extra for things such as kitchen cleaning ,the room is dark. Bathroom had strange smell . No friendly treatment or whatsoever.
