Only stayed here for the first night after late arrival. Tranfer was good and the location and price great. More a backpackers / budget hostel suitable for short stays.

We had a room for 4 persons in the top of the hostel but it was too hot in the room and no window avaible. With young children we would not stay here again because the shared bathroom was not suitable for young children.

The relaxed hostel atmosphere of the place, and the location, very near Jamaa El Fna.

I was backpacking and didn't mind, but it is an hostel, not an hotel. The presentation in Booking makes it look much better, I was going for a few nights rest in a decent quiet hotel and ended up back in an hostel. It's also expensive, for what you get (being an hostel).

Staff is very helpful and very kind. I may write dozen e-mails to arrange my trip. They always reply very patiently and very quickly. They helps us a lot to get the visa and stamps, etc. The hotel itself is small, basic but very clean, which could be rare in such dusty city. Location is also great, close to everything.

Great location just behind the square Jeema El Fna in a quiet little alleyway. Friendly and helpful, English speaking staff. They advised us on a very well-organised 3 day trip to the Sahara desert last minute, (12 midnight for a tour starting next morning at 7am) for half the price as the agency we had booked with and let us down. Lovely Moroccan style decorations and simple roof terras overlooking Medina. Very clean. Excellent value for simple accomodation. For that price obviously no air-conditioning, but a lovely breeze coming through building at night, so was easy to get a good night's sleep.

Very Close to the main square in Marakech but it is difficult to find this Hotel for the first time - so better ask them for the way how to get there. They offer trawels for quite good Price.

    - Great location in the medina, although down an alleyway and difficult to find - Fast Wi-Fi - Very cheap, ideal for backpackers - Friendly, helpful staff

    - We were in the room next to the reception area (I think it was room number 3) and this was very noisy until late at night. We had to get up early, which is why we requested a quiet room on the booking, but we didn't receive this - The showers were cold

The staff were extremey welcoming and helpfull from start to finish. The cost of the stay was incredible, no catches just brilliant value. The hotel is cleaned daily with options to change bedding or towels every few days. Is 2 minutes walk from the square and once we found it, it was easy to find again and again.

Could of been sign posted better as it was quite hard to find straight from the bus. The wifi was slow at times but it was everywhere in Morocco. Both very minor.

The staff was very good. They showed me the map and explained the area of Marrakech. They even told me the actual price for taxi and horses so that I won't be overcharged and the rough area. I took Sahara tour from here and could leave my baggage for a night. When I came back they let me take shower for only 10 mad.

Since the hotel is very close to the main square it was a bit noisy at night. Also it was a bit hot in my room.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Giving us advice on travel and allowing us to store luggage when we went away for a night and before our flight back. The nicest people you will meet! It's in a perfect central location too.

The hotel is located in the Medina, very close to the main square. The guy who menages it is very friendly: he suggested us what to visit and where to go to eat. Our bedroom was simple but nice, with a terrace just for us. The hotel and our bedroom were accurately cleaned.

The shower wasn't really comfortable and you have to wait ages for getting the right temperature of the water. Sometimes a bad smell came to the bathroom.

    Location

The bathroom is poor. AC not working. The owner lied about the AC. IT said it is working in the website but in fact it is not.

Wonderful staff - great service. So good to have to roof open as I got hot and ended up sleeping on the balcony sofa under the stars!

It was so noisy. Very noisy and people moving around al night. Not until I moved to the roof could I get some sleep.

This might look like one of those places around Djema el Fna that usually go for 50 dirhams instead of the 150 we paid. But if you have ever been to those rat-holes you will soon realise it is worth paying more, the place is clean, you can actually use the bedsheets, OK the rooms are dark with windows facing inside the building, but if you are in Marrakech most likely you only want to sleep at your place and I can imagine in the summer the shade the self contained building provides is a godsend. They have a lovely terrace too from where you can see the snow capped High Atlas and the shared bathrooms are OK too with European toilets. The staff is very helpful and they have a rather good command of English.

One bathroom per floor means longish waiting times in the mornings. But there is sink in the rooms, and toilets are separate.

This Riad is nicely tucked away from the bustle but only a small walk away from the main square. It's tranquil, clean, and very friendly .. the owners speak English. I have no hesitation in recommending it if you are on a budget, yet want the Moroccan experience .. they are all such nice people, and please don't take notice of reviews that say they always ask for money .. many don't have any, and there is no social security .. so consider them as micro entrepreneurs, and accept their friendship, and help their livelihood.
