Al Alba  

This was a very clean beautifully maintained hotel. The food in the restaurant and breakfast was fantastic. Nightly recommended

Clean, open and airy room. Very comfortable blankets and sheets.

The doors were quite loud. When the guest beside you opened or closed the door, it echoed into the room. The bed was two put together so it had a crack in the middle--that is annoying.

The style, cleanliness, friendly staff, excellent food, comfort and location. A breath of fresh air after the dreadful hotel in Rabat.

Not far from Mzora and Lixus.

Concrete construction means noise travels easily.

Al Alba is a very nice guest house, made with attention to the smallest details. The food at the restaurant was really good. Our room was very clean and bright.

You have to take a very bad dirt road to arrive at Al Alba. The park in front of the hotel is not very safe, because the owners of the hotel had to put a big chain around our motorbike in order to make it safer during the night.

The rooms are beautifully appointed and immaculately clean. Location was good and breakfast was good too. It is a good Spanish home away from home and may suit couples or older people who like cleanliness.

The staff were not very helpful and despite having a long menu there was nothing for vegetarians and when asked the staff shrugged there shoulders and suggested we go elsewhere! It is very 'Spanish' not Moroccan in feel.

This is only our second ever hotel review and am pleased to say the Al Alba was very special. The place is very comfortable and clean but more importantly looked beautiful, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast spectacular. Next time we are passing through we will definately be staying there

5 min walk from the town, but along the seafront so not a chore

Al Alba is a small, beautiful hotel within easy walking distance of the artist's community and Medina of the city of Assilah. The staff are extremely courteous, professional, helpful and thoughtful. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and by themselves are reason enough to stay. The restaurant and breakfast served on site are delicious--although you wouldn't want to miss the excellent food available in the city, either. We will return to Al Alba and heartily encourage all visitors to Assilah to do likewise.

Décoration

There is cement on the floor in room 8. little noisy cuz the road. Little far to beach. Small room. Since credit cards can not be used to give us trouble.

The hotel was clean and bright. A really comfortable and charming place to stay. Teressa & Louis the owners were friendly and helpful and their young staff were very sweet. The food was good, the best we had in Morocco. A short walk to Asilah's lovely medina and even shorter walk to the beach. We stayed in 6 different riads and hotels during our stay in Morocco and the Al Alba was our favourite and we would recommend it.

If anything, I would just say that whilst the breakfasts were very enjoyable, there were so many little Moroccan pancakes (2 different types) breads, jams and sweet treats that were bought to the table that we could not possible eat everything and I felt bad about the wasted food. A small breakfast menu for you to choose from would have been perfect.

location is slightly outside of what we thought would be the city. in local terms, however, it is not outside.

Great Hotel (second time here). Perfectly located close to Tanger but away from it as well. Assilah is tranquill and on the beach although we wlept here just on our way to Marrakesh. DInner and tea are recomendable: very very good meal!

Me ha gustado todo en general, pero destacaría la cocina, y el haman. El personal muy amable, ideal para disfrutar y relajarse. Muy limpio, el desayuno fantástico. Ya tengo reserva para ir con mis hijas en Agosto

Ni un solo pero.

Me ha gustado todo en general, el desayuno y la comida excelentes. La suite muy agradable con detalles muy acogedores. Ha sido un acierto tanto la reserva en este hotel como desplazarnos a Assilah.

No encuentro nada importante que reseñar, si acaso que al disponer de albornoz he echado en falta las zapatillas. Los albornoces eran los dos de la misma talla, una media, a mi me servía pero a mi hijo no. Sería conveniente poner alguno de talla L.
