Excellent location, right in the centre of the Medina. Friendly staff.
Staff was very helpful especially the girl who works in the evening. Rooms are basic but we need them just to sleep over night, perfect location, nice terrace, clean enough.. Don't expect 5* but it's perfect for the money you pay! For travelers, not the spoiled tourists.. This is Morocco!
Friendly staff, great location, airconditioning available in the hotel.
I have twice of time the electricity suspend!
Distance to Jemaa El Fna
Place for breakfest, animals smell, aircondition didnt work
Knockout location, friendly helpful staff, room fine except for stifling heat. Missed the great restaurant which is now closed
Stifling heat in rooms at end of April. Even the cold water tap was hot. Room was really like a furnace. m
The location is the solo reason I booked this place. It is right on the Square and close to the main road. We booked 2 rooms and they were on the second floor. No lift and there are a total of 47 stairs to reach our door. We were pleased to see our rooms as they looked like they have been recently renovated, though the works carried out in the bathroom is terrible. They have nice toilet suite but the person did not install things properly - its such a let down. It can be quite chaotic once you get to the hotel as the reception is a walk through but it's not so bad once you get used to it. This hotel is best suited for backpackers rather than a family. The staff are very nice and friendly specially the old man selling drinks and icecream. There is no fridge, tv or a telephone in the rooms.
There was no air condition. I was travelling with my DD and parents. The first night we could not sleep so we pulled the duvet on to the balcony to sleep in nature AC. It got cold in the middle of the night so we came back in. No lift, the breakfast is basic.
Easy to access by taxi, and also very close to the medina. Checking in was easy, and the receptionist spoke a number of languages. I had a nicely renovated room with a large terrace that overlooked the gardens. The room was clean and fairly spacious, in spite of having three single beds in it, and the bathroom was large, warm, and well-lit, with plenty of toilet-paper and a hair-dryer. The beds were comfortable, with a sheet and duvet.
Due to its central location, there was a terrible amount of noise from outside the hotel, and the room doors tended to be very loud when people left or entered their rooms. I would certainly recommend a pair of very good earplugs.
Location right near to the main square
Excellent location next to djemma
Cheap hotel is what you get
the location was superb, right in the center of the medina. staff was very friendly and helpfull. the room was nicely decorated and had a fair size with access to the inside patio.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing at first but then again, in the end it was all the same all over morocco. just the tea could have been a bit better.
Very good for central position, and the double room with big bed on the first flor was beautifull
We booked for double with big bed for 35 euro, and they give us a room with 3 beds, not so clean, wc smelly. When we asked for a double room, how we booked, they give us anothe room, completly different; big and beautifull. The price is 35 euro or 350 dirham, but if you pay in dirham they ask you money in add, for "booking fee"... According to this site there are not booking fees... So they ry ti cheat you!
Location to the main square
Room was nothing like advertised. Pictures were very deceiving. Room we had was old, dirty and tired. The bathroom was small and the shower was just hand held and there was no shower curtain so it flooded. No towels in the room and we had to ask at reception for them. The reception nonplussed with everything. Breakfast very poor, just bread and coffee and tea. No ambience in the hotel, the hallways were all dimly lit. Noise from the street until early morning hours was unbearable at times. Fine for just one night but even then, would think twice for the price. If you want to be close to the main square, it's ok but otherwise, pay a bit more for something nicer or make sure you get the room advertised!
