i like the comfort of hotel with a fidge is a bonus, also very good location close to everything happening in marrakesh is close to the medina and there is very good restarant a la friillarde is nearby if you like eurpeon food like i do, also friendliness of the staff
one night lots of noise, but it was a weekend and i was on 1st floor
The hotel itself is ok but the receptionist on the night of our arrival was rude and uncooperative which made our stay very unpleasant. She was so mean that we were tempted to go to another hotel if we had a choice. Thank goodness the night porter on our arrival was kind and helpful. Our room included breakfast but we were charged an extra 100drm per breakfast each day by the same receptionist. She folded up the invoice and stuffed it in an envelope so we didn´t realize we were ovedcharged until we were well on our way. We have written to the hotel to ask for a refund. We we will see what happens. I definitely DO NOT recommend this hotel and I will never stay there again.
The front desk staff, cleaner were extremely helpful in giving directions and general tourist information.. Thanks for the recommending the nearby cinema, it was great movie and great night ;-) We had a good pleasent stay, I would defiantly recommend this place to friends and for sure would be my hotel whenever I go marrakesh ... Plz pass our regards to the female staff at the front desk who brought the cake and flowers as well as to Fatime all zahra the housekeeper.
Convenient location for ville nouvelle of Marrakech. Roof terrace and pool pleasant. Comfortable bed. Good for one night stopover.
Poorly equipped room.No hair dryer, mini bar empty, no water provided. Snack bar on roof terrace not operating. wifi intermittent.
The location is very good- close to restaurants and shops. Close to the train station. The petit tax to the airport range from 70 -100 mad. We paid 70.
The pillows on the bed were very thick and extremely uncomfortable. I ended up using a folded bath towel as a pillow. No cnn or bcc channels. Breakfast was ok- no fruits.
The room was wonderful with a balcony and refrigerator. The taxis were cheap (just bargain) so nothing is far away in a taxi. The breakfast was better than the typical Moroccan breakfast. The staff were helpful and polite. There were a lot of budget restaurants just next door to the Hotel.
The room was big enough for the 2 of us with a big king size bed very comfortable. We asked for a room on the 5th floor not to be annoyed by the staff preparing the breakfast early in the morning. The staff at the reception as well as in the restaurant were very helpful ... always willing to help and to offer us the best service when possible. The baggage handler is very helpfull and polite ... he wasn't waiting for a tip as if it was totally normal and logic for others, so it was a pleasure to give him a tip after he helped us with our luggage. Breakfast was very good for 3 days but you need to arrive early to have enough choices (only some fruits were missing). The hotel is very well located Gueliz next to many interesting points and only at 20 min walk from the famous Koutoubia.
Nothing special except the fruits missing at the breakfast.
Close to many things.
We booked hotel Almas the day we were arriving in Marrakech. Having stayed in the Medina the previous week we decided to try the new quarter. The staff were very so nice and helpful. Great views of the snow capped atlas mountains. Close enough to the medina to walk but away from the hustle and bustle. There are great restaurants and bars very close by. Would definitely stay again. Enjoy
It was easy to find after being dropped off by the bus 19. it has a forey which we found handy as one could sit there and watch the world go by without being hussled. it was functional in that, it was clean and comfortable beds.
There is no computer to do online checking if one forgets to do before departing. They promised to give us a wake up call but nothing happened as we were having a day trip to the coastal town of Essouari.
Convienient for location for the new city, old city, food outlets and taxis.
all was perfect
Buena relación precio-calidad-situación
Bufé desayuno algo monótono
Very spacious room, big and comfortable bed.
Something wrong with the drainage in the shower on the first night we arrived. The water went out of the shower and the washroom was full of water. 10 min later the staff came to fix the problem and clean the floor and replaced clean towels for us. Very efficient.
After staying in a budget Riad for a few nights it was nice to be in a hotel with fluffy donnas, thick fresh sheets and a swimming pool on the roof in the sun!
Everything was good
Nothing in general
- Clean rooms and beds - Near restaurants, cafes, and miscellaneous shops - Small and shallow pool, but clean - Great rooftop views - Breakfast was Ok, with breads, fruit, cereal, fresh orange juice, brewed coffee, tea - Everything in the room works - The hallways smell clean - Helpful staff
- Hallways are a bit dark (LED lighting)
- Excellent location - Walking distance to shopping centre - Great restaurants downstairs where locals go - Staff cleaned the pool everyday - Good breakfast
The clerks were very polite, the rooms were nice and clean. Hotel Almas is great!
location is very good breakfast is good
Staff good and helpful, position away fro the bustle, very large bed, clean, calm, right next door to some great eating places.
Lack of a bar (but a great bar/restaurant 100 meteres away) so not the such a panic!
The front of house staff were great, especially Hicham (who was a star!!), who made our stay extremely pleasant. Hicham was also very good in arranging tours and excursions for us which made life very easy for us. The room size was good, plenty of space for luggage and wardrobe space. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. The bathroom was slightly tight for space but again clean and perfectly adequate. The breakfast was generally good, maybe slightly poor on the selection but still fresh and plenty of it! The location of the hotel is about a 30 minute walk to the main square. There are plenty of restaurants in the nearly area as well as many shops and is relatively easy to get a taxi from here. The roof terrace is also nice with a small pool. This is a 3 star hotel which lives up to it's expectations! Would definitely stay here again.
Breakfast selection limited and repetitive each day. The hotel is located in a busy area so there is noise in the rooms from outside plus the rooms are not very well sound proofed. Saying that it's not a significant enough issue to put me off staying there again. The wifi was ok in the lobby area but couldn't ever get any connection in the room.
Most staff VERY nice.
Some staff could be more helpful.
Quiet location and quiet hotel. Huge comfortable bed.
Wifi is good and fast. Room is clean, big and quiet. It is not far from Train station and Bus station so easy to travel. Not far from YSL garden.
Wi-fi was very poor connecting.
