I have to say that after my 4 day stay, the hotel started to grow on me, plus points, the location is brilliant, not far from the Medina, but just far enough away to avoid all the touts etc, you can walk around the roads by the hotel in complete safety, no issues no one bothering you, excellent restaurants/shops nearby, breakfast is not as bad as the previous reviews, you get what you pay for. The receptionist was very helpful, cleaners are great, pool was nice but out of season, so in the summer would be great, the hotel doesn't serve alcohol, so know that before you go, I brought back water from outside, no issues on that, I would stay here again, best thing about this hotel is the birds singing in the trees all around the hotel, beautiful sight and sound!
First off, the hotel is old and does have an old feel about it, decor etc, so if you want modern, book somewhere else, I think personally that this just added to it's charm. Plus the hotel requires quite a lot of repair work for leaks etc as it was raining alot, but they obviously haven't got the finance for that right now, place will be super when they do.
Got 2 rooms for the price i would have paid for 1 room. Went in november, it gets cold at night, extra blankets supplied. Breakfast is continental enough to get you going. Not a brand new building but not completely run down either. Overall i would consider staying here next time.
Wifi only available in reception/bar area.
The hotel has extended the WiFi to the larger lounge. They took the trouble to switch on the heating in my room while I was out. Friendly staff.
hôtel calme personnel sympa
pas de shampoo pas de clim aucun papis
Quite room, good night sleep
A beautiful hotel that has seen 'better days', located in the Gueliz convenient to the airport. A great place to stay if you prefer the quiet sound of bird song in a big garden, (with a beautiful pool) to the night time Medina noise of loud buzzing motos and amplified mosques. Free wi fi, friendly staff and a good breakfast. Just a 20 DH Taxi ride to the Centre. Secure free parking.
The beautifully decorated 'Bar' no longer sells alcoholic drinks. The out of date website does not really represent the many charms of the Hotel.
Was reasonable for prices, helpful staff good cleaning.
No air conditioning poor lighting and furniture.
the hotel is a cheat, the charge is unreasonable and unfair, they force you to charge when checking out; even it is forbidden to take water into the hotel!!!! they force you to buy water there which is ridiculous; the room is not propre that you can find some dirty smear on the bedsheet.
The price and the location of the hotel, in Gueliz
They tried to be nice despite the condition in which is the hotel.
Old furniture and broken. The breakfast is awful, I mean it! Worst hotel breakfast in years!
This hotel has financial problems !!! It is in bankruptcy situation, an expert designed by the court manage this hotel .no sign of cleaning, durty , rotches all over the places .tower are old. TV are very old from1960 .do no refer any body !!!!!!!!!! No no no no.
Everything!!!!!!!!!!!it's even 1star
The pool was lovely, a few of the staff tried their best with English for us and the food was great
There was nothing outside the hotel to do and to walk anywhere got quite scary
more restaurants and cafe near by hotels
no Mosque near by hotel no air conditions in hotel
Very good value for money, very clean, spacious room with bathroom; it has a swimming pool, wi-fi and it is only 20 mins walking distance from the Medina.
Some of the staff is not very reliable, my experience: failed wake up calls, laundry not ironed although paid for it to be;
I like this hotel is very calame the reception is very good service Good I recommend every one stay here !
The pool was excellent
No aircon price of food was very high and not very good
only think what was good it was pool
No condition,wi fi bed,bed rooms,no table tennis. There was nothing what was write about hotel!!!
Pool was ok the less sed about the rest the better
Close to the event I was attending at the University, lots of inexpensive food options nearby.
A bit far away to walk to the old city and better restaurant area. Easy to take a taxi though, as long as you make sure to agree a price before starting.
I have stayed at this Hotel many times and I recommend it every time.
Very unfriendly staff. DO NOT STAY! I will surely not repeat. Breakfast was horrible.
I was in a front room with view of mountain and it was great. I liked that the hotel was not in city centre and it is in the newer part of the city... with all services nearby. Previous opinions made me think it would be really isolated but it is not. The staff were lovely (once people treat them right for the amount you pay et cetera).
I was generally very happy there. The breakfast reflected how much the hotel cost, so, if you are going looking for a good breakfast this is not the place, but it has coffee to get you going.
I reserev long time ago and they change aparently the owner of the hotel...and the sauna wasn t open every day, very cold inside the room and the entrance....poor room, no bar sailing alcool as they said..never mind so I ask for ice cube..and they didn t have it...etc....i shoul be advice by email that my booking shouldn t be that I was expecting....on the webside....
Public WiFi area, smoky, noise, cold, 1 piece of soap the size of a medium coin, nothing else. Staff not too friendly.
