Hotel Andalucia Golf Tanger    

Conoscevo l'Andalucia già da precedenti viaggi, ma questa volta ho fatto l'errore di prenotare in alta stagione (agosto), in coincidenza inoltre con la festa di fine ramadan. Non fatelo mai! In questo periodo infatti l'hotel è strapieno, fanno offerte e c'è più gente di quanta ne riescano a sostenere le strutture. Ho prenotato una camera e me ne hanno assegnata una di livello inferiore facendomi pagare lo stesso prezzo, la colazione era un'avventura scoraggiante (la corsa al caffè!), la piscina sempre piena con una decina di lettini e gli altri sulle sedie... Insomma, non esattamente un 5 stelle.

Friendly staff, very clean rooms, high comfort standard.

There is a good Italian restaurant, personally I would have appreciated also a restaurant with local Moroccan food.

The hotel room was lovely, the grounds and public areas were well kept. The food was excellent and we feel excellent value for money. The staff were extremely friendly. Especially the restaurant staff.

Ok, where do we start? 1. We were given a key to a beautiful room overlooking the pool. Problem was, it was being used, or had just been used by another couple. The reception staff didn't acknowledge this and left it to the porter to fix. 2. The air conditioner is OVERWHELMINGLY loud. The generator or main motor is located outside by the pool but it is very noisey. We had complained and was told that at 11pm it would be shut down. It didnt shut off until after midnight. If you had planned for a peaceful stay and early nights, this is not ideal. 3. When we checked in we handed over our passports. We only got one back though. Due to the room mix up, hadn't realized we hadnt recieved the other. When we started to look for it we retraced our steps and hoped it was left at reception. And it was. By then we were in a bit of a panic. We think it was poor service that they had our passport for a period of time and didn't let us know. The receptionist was very indifferent about the situation. 4. Sensor lights. Each floor has no natural light. When the lifts open you literally walk out into complete darkness. As you walk down the long corridoor to your room you are also in darkness unless you set off a sensor. You have to wave your arms to activate the lights. Again, not ideal. 5. We had a few problems with room service (bring up two empty glasses when we had asked for two glasses of wine, receiving incorrect orders), but I think that is due to us not understanding French or Arabic very well, and they not understanding English well. That I think is not really an issue, I am adding this only as it adds to the the other more unsatisfactory incidents. We had let the reception know about all this as we checked out. They were apologetic and did seem genuinely concerned. However, we don't feel that it was a 5 star response, just as we don't feel the hotel itself has a 5 star approach to giving good service to its customers.

Nice hotel - friendly staff, no surprises. Pretty much your standard decent quality international set-up. Ever so mildly pretentious, in the way that all these places are. I guess it's what the clientele wants/expects...

Only very minor quibbles: I don't watch much TV, which is handy as the channels are few, grainy, and as dull as can be. The coffee/tea serving arrangement at breakfast is a bit antiquated - minions running here and there with leaky thermos jugs with unknown contents and mostly missing their push-to-pour buttons... A bit comical, but not exactly the end of the world. Breakfast otherwise as good as you'd expect, with fresh fruit, the usual strange hotel (scrambled?) egg stuff, excellent olives and pastries, and if you pounce at the right time; properly cooked fried-egg to go with the dinky mystery sausages... WiFi patchy, despite recent upgrade - But quite possibly not the fault of the hotel; Tangiers WiFi is quirky at best of times.

The young man attending to the pool was very polite, helpful and efficient. Pool was extremely clean and well maintained - credit to him! Staff were very friendly, in particular the restaurant staff.

There were no hangers in the cupboard when we arrived and so had to ask for some! Rugs on bedroom floor needed a clean or a shake off, apart from that the room was very clean. Breakfast was fairly good although with the same selection of food every morning it was getting a little boring by the end of the week. I would consider this a 4 star hotel, not a 5 star as it didn't have that extra special service that warrants the 5 star status!

It is a clean hotel

The Hotel reception was extremely rude to my partner to the point where I was going to find another Hotel. Checking out was another problem the reception had included extra items that we had not had, we had only used the resturaunt for food and drink and the bill was paid direct to the restaurant I eventually got this sorted out. If the management employed professional people who are capable to communicate to people who have Moroccan wife's we are in our late forties a mid fifties who really do not want there bad manners. I would strongly recommend anyone who stays in this Hotel to be very careful of there bill and to check it thoughly before Ypaying Regards B. Storton

Un rapport qualité prix exceptionnel pour un hôtel de grand standing, très agréable et bien situé à proximité du Golf.

Accueil peu attentionné et pas à la hauteur d'un 5 étoiles : chambre non prête à l'arrivée: il manquait les lits des enfants. Il fallait toujours réclamer ce qui était de droit(serviettes piscine, café), aucun renseignement donné sur les activités et visites alentours. Dommage, tout est là pour un séjour agréable, mais c'est comme si finalement les clients les embêtaient.

le petit dejeuner est tres decevant pour un 5 etoiles. Les chambres ne sont pas insonorises, on entend tout ce qui se dit dans les couloirs

الخدمات + وجبات الافطار سيئة وغير متنوعة (على مدار 11 يوم بوفيه الافطار لم يتغير : بيض مقلي غرقان في الحليب+ بيض عيون يسبح في بركة من الزيت +فرانكفورتر ولحم مقدد + مربيات سيئة المذاق + سلطة الفواكهه+ تشكيلة من الكروسونات السادة )

Difficultés pour y accéder

التعامل الراقي من كافة العاملين في الفندق فالابتسامة ورحابة الصدر والبشاشة لا تفارقهم وخصوصا المسؤولة الأخت رشيدة فلها ولهم جزيل الشكر

هناك بعض تسريبات المياه في الغرف مع وقت الأمطار .. يوم السبت والأحد يتحول المقهي الوديع في الفندق الي مرقص متوحش لا يدعك تنام من صوت الموسيقي
