Very friendly staff
The staff were exceptional! - just brilliant. They created a relaxed and homely atmosphere. Special breakfast requests remembered each day e.g. cold milk and a jug of hot water. Very comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Sunny roof terrace. Blissfully hot shower.
Difficult to find on arrival. Took a long time to get into hotel - via very helpful policeman and eventually via sister hotel - Riad Kalaa. No key to front door. Courtyard sometimes noisy with people always having to ring or knock. Bath - enormous! Too big to use as a bath as impossible to fill above a few cm before hot water ran out.
A nice riad, with modern comforts. Hisham was a very nice host and always very helpful. The wifi worked well too. Sometimes a little spotty but I was able to get some work done. The breakfast was very good.
If I wasn't taken there, I would have found it difficult to find it. They need some sign outside the door saying Art Riad.
on arrival we were received at the Riad Kalaa (which is the major Riad to whch Artriad is connected), a really outstanding place of great beauty and class, where we received a very kind and effective address on what and how visit Rabat. We returned there for a dinner, which was definitely at an excellent level. Riad Artriad is also very nice and confortable, with a very beautiful patio and rooms. Riad
The entrance at Artriad is not completely easy: you don't have the keys, and when you ring you miss some quick enough feedback. In one case we had to insist for more than 5 minutes. We were recommanded to go to a fish restaurant, which in the end resulted to be quite mean. If we had followed the guide perhaps we would have done better.
Friendliness of Hicham, the young man who manages this satellite of Riad Kalaa. Small, but nicely appointed room inside the Medina, just a short walk from Av. Laalou or rue Des Consuls. If you contact them before your arrival they will send someone to help you with your luggage.
fabulous rooms and dehor, all details were perfect, very kind and collaborative staff, excellent breakfasts, it seemed to be in the "1000 and 1 nights" fair.
if the keys of the main door were available, it would have been a plus.
Host was very hospitable - we enjoyed our stay
Helpful in all ways. Genuine and kind arrival mint tea. Help with luggage. Dinner at Riad Kalaa was very good. Breakfast at Art Riad excellent the next morning. More help with luggage.
Be careful with city tour guides: 400 dr if they walk you around for two hours, another 400 dirham if you ride anywhere in their car or vehicle. Small blue taxis are very reasonable - 10 dr most places.
Kind and helpful staff
First encounter with Morocco, very friendly and helpful people, excellent location. Smart rooms, spacious and well equipped. Fit for one night, but also for one week! Highly recommended!
We had just reached Morocco and were a little apprehensive but the owners made us feel home. I felt so good. The stay was perfect. The decor has been done so nicely. The breakfast was also very good. His son is so cute and you feel it's your home.
Staff we're very helpful and pleasant. The riad is attractive, with warm water, good internet, air conditioning, good breakfast, and nice aesthetic touches. Would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.
People and location
A little bit too expensive compared with silar places
This riad is located very close to the Oudaias as well as the Medina. It is a little tricky to find, so I recommend that you have the taxi driver call the Riad to ask for directions. If taking a taxi from the train station, then request that the taxi driver use the meter. They will try to charge you 50 MAD, when the actual price it 10 MAD. The rooms in the Riad are beautifully decorated and have an electric heater which is essential in the winter. The manager and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The manager even offered to repair my purse. I would definitely stay in this Riad again in the future.
The name of the Riad isn't written above the door making it difficult to find.
The building Quality of the service Quality of the food
Poor signal of the wifi
Nice interior decor. Nice smell of essential oil burning in bathroom to welcome us.
We were disappointed with the staff's (Isham) lack of professionalism and attentiveness especially since we were the only guests in the riad at that time. He was still asleep when we were expecting breakfast although we had arranged for the breakfast time the night before. We had no choice but to take the breakfast at another riad in the interest of time. Another disappointment was that we had arranged for him to accompany us to the main street to assist with luggage and taxi at check out but he was not around at the appointed time. The staff apparently lives in the riad with his young family and as a result we could hear baby crying from our room located downstairs.
- perfect location in the middle of medina - very clean rooms - loved the design of the rooms and bathrooms - friendly and helpful staff - good value for money - best riad i stayed in so far
- weak wifi signal in my room
Excellent service Arrived late-Hicham went out on his bike to pick us up a late snack
Outside edge of medina-hard to get taxis Far from restaurants Taxi driver did not know how to get there
