Clean, good size rooms, good spa, nice pool. There is secure parking Breakfast is plentiful if not very tasty.

Soulless Currently (May 2013) the promenade is being rebuilt - so the diggers and pneumatic drills start making a lot of noise from 7am. The private beach is a long walk to get to and not a good place to be with all the construction works on going.

The poor cleanining of the toilet (walls of toilet/bathroom have not been properly cleaned for a long time -lack of supervision). The room maid did not leave tissues, towels and had not reported the sink was blocked. When we reported and she came with the plomer she blamed us for the sand in it (we never had been in the beach). Clearly she had not reported in despite of noticing it when cleaning the sink. Beds are comfy but would be better two have a real king size bedroom and not two beds put together and then publicise as ;king size'. Tissues were requested to reception twice and never arrived. Pillows are extremely high/thick you wake up with neck pain! Would be great if you could provide thinner pillows! Thanks for acting on feedback!

five star hotel at budget prices, great location and breakfast was great

I loved the spa bath, the ocean view, the cleanliness of the room and the diligence of the cleaning staff, the politeness and helpfulness of the reception staff, the location by the beach and the hotel was only a short stroll from the town centre. The facilities were generally very good and the porters helpful.

Although I loved the outdoor swimming pool, it was freezing cold! To gain top star status, the pool needs to be heated and although we loved the ocean view, there was no balcony. We had the breakfast buffet included in the price. There was plenty of choice and variety of food, but the service could sometimes be slow. The building works on the promenade in front of the hotel were occasionally noisy early in the morning.

Good room service - fast, polite. We do recommend their spa center (we tried hammam, sauna and massage procedures) good furniture in the room and bath equipment good location - close to the beach and the Medina

Is not real 5* hotel. When we arrived it was not very warm in the room and the heater in our room (and as they said in all hotel) did not work at all. It took them 1 day to fix it. There was broken cran in our bathroom, but they fixed it on the second day of our stay. We asked 3 times to bring us bathrobes and only when we came to the reception on the 4th time they reacted and bring them to us in 3 hours after that. Room service worked well, but the reaction on real live requests was very slow.

Very good spa facilities. Hotel is large and stylish with a great piano bar with live relaxing acoustic music every night.

Staff were a bit slow on the room service, we had to call 3 times to get bathrobes (which should have been in the room) before our spa appointment!

Nice room comfortable bed

Spa supposedly open from 9 am was unavailable at 9.30 and indoor pool was 'reserved' (to whom? It was empty). Room preference through booking ignored with no feedback

We had the room with ocean view. It's unforgettable! Spa, sauna, massage. Room-service. Bar with live music. Food.

No normal Internet in the room. Just area. Suppose, it's not a problem of this hotel. We've been to 5 cities in Morocco - everywhere is the same.

The reception, bar and rooms were very tasteful. We had a lovely time there, the room was lovely and had heating.

The gym did not have towels, water or wipes for the equipment. The pool was not heated. We could smell smoke from the room next door - non smoking corridors are better.

Location , a 10 minutrs walk away from the Medina , was excellent for us. After a bussy day in the Medina it is a good place to relax.

Location ok, towncenter at walking distance. Comfortable room, located at the quiet garden side.

Staff attention (reception desk) seemed to be more to each other than to the customer. Breakfast good be better for a 5 star: no fresh fruit juice (limonade instead), no fresh fruit, poor coffee.

Brand new, also got upgraded to a huge room! We also only paid 30 euros a night so we stayed for 6!! Room very big and wifi excellent. Bathroom modern and western unlike the dinky bathrooms that you get in cute riads.

The reception staff were cold and in many ways rude not to mention incompetent! We were never welcomed when we returned to the hotel or even a hello! Fairly long walk from the medina where all the action is. Didnt feel like a 5 star hotel, room was run down (chips on desk and tears in leather headboard) and 14 of the downlights in the hall leading to our room from the lift were blown. We paid 30 euros for the room although the sign on the door said 220 euros a night. I don't know if we got poor service due to the fact that we got such a bargain however I would be highly disappointed if I had paid that money and got treated the way we did.

We got an amazing deal at Atlas Essaouoira & Spa paying only 32 euros a night, so for us this hotel was great value. However if I was paying 200 euros a night I would not have the same opinion! The hotel is very clean and new and the wifi worked very well on the 2nd floor. We did not have breakfast or eat in the restaurant because the prices were very high and by all accounts (for all the other reviewers) not of a high quality.

The hotel is about 1km from the Medina (where all the restaurants are) and 500m from the area of beach with the lounges.

Very quait hotel, the break fast is good , spa is awosome.

They should have a good resturant because the 7 was not good and expensive . I noticed also room service when I orderd was not a good food ..only breakfast is the best . I hope they change next year when I go.
