The owners organise amazing hiking trips away from the touristy areas. The food was really good too :).

Room a bit small, smoking annoying, village an awful mix of tourist traps ruining a lovely mountain valley.
Comfy room , friendly hostess and dog, home cooking tasty but expensive, good knowledgeable local guide for mountain walks away from tourist areas.

The home cooking was lovely and tasty. Martine and Paulou were so welcoming. They lit a log fire for us in the evenings to make sure we were warm. They also heated our room and gave us extra blankets. The setting by the river was stunning.

The Riad is owned and run by a very kind couple who treated us to a great meal as we arrived tired and a little late. The location is amazing, right by the river with separate places to stay in a beautiful garden. Absolutlely recommend staying here.

When we arrived we were asked if we wanted to eat there in the evening and we said we would however we were not aware of the price until after we had eaten. Turns out it was hugely overpriced in comparison to food the available just a few minutes walk up the road. The food was good but not worth the money. The wifi was very poor, it did not work in the rooms, only in the reception area and was very slow. Also you can only pay in cash so make sure you allow for this before arriving in Setti Fatma and there are no cash machines.
We got a free upgrade for our room which was lovely, the room was clean and comfortable. Also great breakfast and good location and the french couple who ran the business were very welcoming.

Nothing, all good.
After staying in several places in Morocco, all of good standard, this was by far the best accommodation we stayed in during our 10 night trip. There are some steep steps from the road, but once down the 20 or so steps you are in a beautiful private well kept garden with rooms and the main house off this. The hosts Poulou & Martine are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food is great we ate excellent meals both evenings washed down with some very good local wine. The garden backs onto the river that runs through Setti Fatma in the Ourika Valley. We did the tourist trek to the waterfalls with a guide (worth the small fee) and on the second day a longer hike on our own recommended by Poulou through a couple of nearby villages and mountain paths only seeing locals all day. Will definitely stay here again when next visiting Morocco and highly recommend for quality, friendliness, location and price. Thanks Poulou and Martine for a memorable stay.

Everything -- the hosts were great, the decor was beautiful and the food was excellent. We had wonderful hikes in the area and plan to return there to stay longer next time. You couldn't ask for better hosts -- they were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, with Moroccan pancakes, bread, cheese, jam, amlou, fresh orange juice and coffee. We highly recommend having dinner there as well -- ours was outstanding.
