Located in the Fes Medina, just a 2 minutes from Quaraouiyine Mosque, Riad Kettani’s 3 flowered rooftop terraces overlook the mountains and Medina.
Score from 226 reviews Wonderful
Riad Zitouna lies at the heart of the medina (historic quarter) of Fez el-Bali in the quiet area of Zkak Bghal, a few hundred yards from the finest monuments of the city.

Swimming pool and inner patio.
hotel standard is like a 3-star from 1970s. Cockroaches in the bedroom are not my favorite companions.
Friendly helpful staff. Perfect location. Small but swimmable pool - gfeat for refreshment relaxation and meeting other guests. Generally a really calm and welcoming ambience. A little oasis from the heat and bustle just outside.
Nothing I didn't like. But would love a slightly more varied breakfast with maybe fresh fruit and juice and less sugary more savoury choices. I also think that a few minor renovations could be done here and there.
I visit the Fes festival every year and this time decided to stay at the Batha hotel, since it's situated in two steps from two of the principal venues and not far from the rest of the festival sites. Also all Medina is easily accessible from it. Good swimming pool, the hotel is quite and the personnel friendly and competent. If you order a taxi to an airport or train station, it's much cheaper to do it yourself - there is a taxi stop nearby. If you visit Fes for the first time, I would recommend a riad - to appreciate the unique flavor of the local culture. But if you are a return visitor, the advantages of location and swimming pool make the Batha hotel a perfect choice.
The breakfast is extremely poor, though for those who like French Croissants it may seem nice. No fruits, etc. But as in Fes you can find a wonderful place to eat just in two minutes from the hotel and for ridiculous price, it's not a problem.
Interesting history and pleasant, convenient location. An island of peace and calm amid the fes medina.
Great location, staff friendly and able to give assistance and good service Great outdoor areas and pool
Rooms are comfy but worn Coffee not do good at breakfast
the rooms looked very out-dated
location to the medina in Fes
Pool was closed and while they planned to reopen, it was filled with ice cold water and was not ready until 2 days into our stay. The rooms are very old with vines and bugs growing & coming through the windows. It is not safe to walk the area outside of the hotel in the dark. Don't stay here.
Amazing milieu with mosaic and fountains and open roof yards in several stories. Very close to the old medina, without being right _in_ it.
The room was a bit spartan and warm water running low in the nights, but not a problem if you're not a comfort snob.
