Excellent breakfast. Excellent old refurbished building in the old medina. Hard to find because of the labyrinth type of streets, but this is part of the charm. The family that runs the B&B were helpful in accompanying me to restaurants and other places I wanted to visit. I highly recommended this B&B and hope to return one day.
Lovely simple hotel right in the medina. Beautifully decorated with many personal touches. Extremely welcoming French owners. Fantastic breakfast on rooftop terrace with beautiful tasty home made preserves. Stayed with four children who thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Would return.
A little difficult to find but worth it. Some noise from street but quiet at night.
The woman who runs the hotel is incredible! She stayed up till 1am waiting for us and then woke up early in the morning to make us breakfast!
Beautiful and meticulous decorations and interesting themed rooms. Expansive, multi-level rooftop terrace with amazing views of Tangier and the Mediterranean. Delicious Moroccan breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Fabienne and her husband are wonderful hosts -- they recommended an excellent Moroccan/French restaurant on the Grand Soco, made a reservation, and Fabienne offered to walk us there! Comfortable -- fan and cool night air (in August) made for an excellent night's rest.
Fabienne and her business partner (is it Ian?) were both very friendly and went out of their way to help us. We really appreciated him taking us for a walk to show us the way to the Petit Socco for our lunch and dinner options. This is a great spot on the edge of the medina with good views from the rooftop over the Med. Its easy to find (taxi to the American Stairs). We finished our trip in Morocco here but it would be a good way to get a start on the culture and using Tanger to start exploring the narrow streets of a medina
Nothing to say here
Location was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay for some days in Tangier. Staff will help you with all your needs. This is typical Medina bed and breakfast and a place you WILL remember. Great roof top terrace with view.
Lovely place with lots of character, very kind hosts. Fantastic view from the roof terrace and marvelous breakfast.
Can be a bit loud at night, but that's the city :).
It has style, detail, beautiful terrace. Fabianne was a fantastic host. the house is in the old medina. It was charming. I would go back to Bayt Alice in a heartbeat. Loved it.
Nothing to say.
Original, moroccan features and decor. The staff were and owners were lovely and went to alot of trouble for us. Breakfast was the best we had over the whole of our stay and was traditional. Beautiful view from the terrace
Friendly partners make it very comfortable and are always available for their guests. My thanks and hope to see you soon again :-)
People in the Medina dont like to sleep quitly it seems, just so that you know, it might get noisy sleeping at street side.
Location- inside of the Madonna.
Blood on our sheets. Bugs in the bathroom. Shower basin fills with soapy water. Room had a putrid odor of sewage. Cats freely roaming Riad.
everything was perfect and the staff could not have been more helpful
The owner was very hospitable, helpful and motherly. Good location, unique decor. Sweet cats and excellent breakfast on rooftop terrace!
Bed was small and very hard. Very loud outside which compounded the issue. Somewhat difficult to find hotel within the Maze of Tangier streets
At a central location in the old city and the breakfast was quite good. Easy to find by following the arrows along the road.
No slippers inside the room. Soap was disgusting.
Roof terrace and breakfast
Very warm and comfortable feelings about the place and Fabienne is a wonderful host. As is Yann. I would definitely go back one day. It is right in the Medina which is a fascinating place. The terrace on the roof is to be experienced for the views of the sea , sand and fishing boats in the harbour. As well as sunbathing of course. Tranquil and peaceful.
Nothing to dislike!
Cleanliness, good breakfast, friendly staff
Location on the Medina not reachable by car, so one has to carry their luggage a long way. Very small room, one has to jump over their luggage. Shower and WC ( both cubicles) are later additions in an already small room.only one hanger for the clothes. Noise from the street during daytime (nights quiet). Extremely hard bed, feels like sleeping on the floor. Woke up with back pain! Definitely overpriced and wildly over-rated. Would not recommend it
Jean was so helpful, that when we asked him about a traditional fish tavern he took us there himself! Everything was perfect!
The lady managing the place when I stayed there was amazing! Helped me out from getting scammed by some locals and showed me around the market. I am so grateful for Carolina!!!
Location, while close to the market, was difficult to get to by taxi (I found out the hard way and got scammed out of money).
Nice old building in the Medina, many signs to help you not to get lost, friendly owner. We stayed in Reine de Saba double room - nice and clean with outside window.
If you are allergic to cats, this property is not for you. A bit noisy outside around midnight, but this is Medina.
The owner, and the staff in general, is very friendly. The breakfast is abundant.
It's dirty! The stink of the many cats living in the hotel is the first I noticed. The rooms stank of toilet and cats. The level is absolutely not adequate to the price they charge.
A great way to start a Morocco trip. To find the hotel, we found the painted-on signs a surprise and very useful when coming from the Petit Socco in the Medina. Our room was nice, with a tall windows that opened onto the street and hot showers. And breakfast was a very good example of Moroccan B&B breakfast - simple and delicious.
It helps to have someone who is a bit of a French speaker with you (as in much of Morocco).
Great roof terrace! You can see the sea. Interior of the hotel is very nice, a modern fireplace in the living. A small beatiful hammam downstairs, clean and cosy for 2-4 people. Breakfast is good, the owner makes her own confiture which you can taste (if you are lucky) The small library with a collection books about Tanger is really nice.
The twin room has only a very small window to the outside. Some rooms do only have windows to the patio. Neighbours are very noisy, also at night (so no exterior windows is actually better ;-) . Room was only cleaned once in the week, we had to ask for clean towles.
It had a very nice terrace on top with a great landscape. The french lady(I guess the owner) was very nice and she obviously did everything to make sure I am enjoying my stay. I rendezvoused with my group of friends that were staying in a camping with no hot water and she was ok with all of them enjoying a cup of tea on the terrace while everyone(a total of 7) is showering:)))
My room was pretty small and I can't say too comfortable:) Wifi signal was bad in some spots and almost not working on the terrace.
Very nice and helpful host and staff. Fantastic house, beautyfully decorated. A very special and unique place.Excellent breakfast. A real exotic and pleasant travelexperience.
Beds not so comfortable.
