The stylish rooms and the warm welcome makes you feel at home. Waking up and looking over Tanger from the roof, followed by a real good breakfast, makes it a place worth visiting

Fabienne gave us wonderful advice and information about the city. The breakfast was yummy - and gorgeous too - with homemade jams. The house is impeccably decorated and fun to explore. Oh and the cats were very friendly!

Conveniently located near the port and the medina, this cozy and beautiful family owned hotel was like a sanctuary where I could rest and plan my trip. The breakfasts were most beautiful and wonderful, with homemade jams, cottage cheese, fruit, excellent coffee and state of culinary art pancakes. The welcoming staff and grace. The view from the sunlit rooftop is amazing. I will be back.

Limited wifi range; couldn't use wifi in our room. Surrounding area felt a bit sketchy late at night.
Knowledgable and extremely helpful owner and staff Best free breakfast of our trip Beautifully decorated Loved the private hammam Very useful painted arrows throughout medina point way to the riad Incredible rooftop view Loved the cats

Centrally located if difficult to find at first till you notice red arrows indicating directions on walls of Medina. Very tastefully decorated, comfortable and homely. Great view of Tangiers from terrace. Excellent spread for breakfast. Most valuable asset is Fabienne, the very friendly and helpful owner who is full of suggestions and will arrange taxi pick-ups etc. Highly recommended.

Located right in the old city! Very interesting!

Location, while excellent, was initially difficult to find. There are red markings leading to the place on the walls, but one has to know where to start to find them.
Bayt Alice is run by a delightful French woman who has decorated her home with artwork from travel abroad. We felt immediately welcome. It is well located in the medina and the roof top terrace has lovely views of Tangier. Breakfast was excellent and included fresh strawberries. She also arranged for a taxi to the airport from her place, with the taxi driver meeting us at the door.

The hostess/owner was wonderful and gracious. My favorite things: The beautiful old building and the decor, the rooftop garden for breakfast and it's views and the BREAKFAST itself, was second to none! FIVE STAR *****!

After a shower the entire bathroom floor gets wet - would be nice to have some floor mats.
This is a charming bed and breakfast in the medina! Fabienne was a wonderful host and had many good recommendations for our stay. There is a delicious and filling breakfast on the rooftop with nice views of the city out to the sea. Cats roam about the house but they're clean and friendly. We were in the first floor room and had no difficulty with any noise at night (with windows closed, and they provide a good fan). We'd all recommend Bayt Alice!

It is a little hard to find and right in the middle of the Medina which was eye opening for somebody who had never been to this type of environment. We had the worst sleep here, not because of the hotel but I got attacked by mosuitos and it was soooo hot with no air conditioning. Make sure you close the all the windows.
We had a great time staying here. The owner was amazing, really helpful and totally insightful when it came to Morocco. We would stay here again if we went back to Tangiers

room was small but cosy, the breakfast was delicious and typical and the owner has been really nice, kind and helpful! She helped us with a map of Tanger and she also helped us looking for a good place where to stay in Tetouan. From the roof (where it's possible to relax and where breeakfast is served) you have a nice view of Tanger. This riad is not far from most of the place you probably want to visit.

Excellent breakfast. Excellent old refurbished building in the old medina. Hard to find because of the labyrinth type of streets, but this is part of the charm. The family that runs the B&B were helpful in accompanying me to restaurants and other places I wanted to visit. I highly recommended this B&B and hope to return one day.

A little difficult to find but worth it. Some noise from street but quiet at night.
Lovely simple hotel right in the medina. Beautifully decorated with many personal touches. Extremely welcoming French owners. Fantastic breakfast on rooftop terrace with beautiful tasty home made preserves. Stayed with four children who thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Would return.

We arrived in the middle of the night with delay and woke the owners...Fabienne reacted very relaxed. She was a fantastic host and the staff was very friendly. The terrace is amazing and the breakfast was the best we had in marrocan guesthouses.
August 23, 2014
The woman who runs the hotel is incredible! She stayed up till 1am waiting for us and then woke up early in the morning to make us breakfast!
August 21, 2014
Beautiful and meticulous decorations and interesting themed rooms. Expansive, multi-level rooftop terrace with amazing views of Tangier and the Mediterranean. Delicious Moroccan breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Fabienne and her husband are wonderful hosts -- they recommended an excellent Moroccan/French restaurant on the Grand Soco, made a reservation, and Fabienne offered to walk us there! Comfortable -- fan and cool night air (in August) made for an excellent night's rest.

Nothing to say here
Fabienne and her business partner (is it Ian?) were both very friendly and went out of their way to help us. We really appreciated him taking us for a walk to show us the way to the Petit Socco for our lunch and dinner options. This is a great spot on the edge of the medina with good views from the rooftop over the Med. Its easy to find (taxi to the American Stairs). We finished our trip in Morocco here but it would be a good way to get a start on the culture and using Tanger to start exploring the narrow streets of a medina

Location was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay for some days in Tangier. Staff will help you with all your needs. This is typical Medina bed and breakfast and a place you WILL remember. Great roof top terrace with view.

Can be a bit loud at night, but that's the city :).
Lovely place with lots of character, very kind hosts. Fantastic view from the roof terrace and marvelous breakfast.

Nothing to say.
It has style, detail, beautiful terrace. Fabianne was a fantastic host. the house is in the old medina. It was charming. I would go back to Bayt Alice in a heartbeat. Loved it.

Original, moroccan features and decor. The staff were and owners were lovely and went to alot of trouble for us. Breakfast was the best we had over the whole of our stay and was traditional. Beautiful view from the terrace

People in the Medina dont like to sleep quitly it seems, just so that you know, it might get noisy sleeping at street side.
Friendly partners make it very comfortable and are always available for their guests. My thanks and hope to see you soon again :-)

Blood on our sheets. Bugs in the bathroom. Shower basin fills with soapy water. Room had a putrid odor of sewage. Cats freely roaming Riad.
Location- inside of the Madonna.
