Offering a swimming pool on the patio, the Riad Charaï also has a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains. Located in the medina, Marrakech Train Station is a 3-minute drive away.

Stay felt a bit like home. The treatment was personal .
Beautiful Riad, specious room.
It was difficult to find. We didn't have this problem with another Riad we staid previously. Staff didn't give as any map or direction but offered a guide for 70€ for half a day. Member of staff from another Riad sat with us for 30 min and explained how to navigate in Medina. We asked staff twice not to have a room service but on both days we came back to a room which was serviced. Staff does speak only little English. They advertise that downstairs swimming pool is heated but it was too cold to get into.
Our stay couldn't have been better - we stayed in the Antique Suite, and it was heaven. Huge room, unbelievably comfy bed (with orthopedic memory foam pillows - a big bonus), a lovely fire, and brilliant friendly staff. Jamal and Siham could not have been more welcoming or helpful - they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we could possibly want! We had hammams at 3 different places during our trip (including one at a much more expensive hotel) and this was the best by far. Highly recommended - i would definitely go back. A haven in a sometimes hectic part of the medina.
Nothing at all - everything brilliant.
Room size and decor, facilities, terrace, attention to detail, kindness of staff and management , Spa and massages. A beautiful oasis in Marrakech Medina
Tranquil base away from the main tourist areas. Got to see the real Marrakesh.
Services/ dinner in riad quite pricey compared to options in the centre.
Location Staff Food Perfect size
The Ryad is definitely an Oasis in the middle of the Medina that is spectacular beautiful and intimate. The dinners were spectacular and probably the best dining experiences we had in Marrakesh. The staff was extremely accommodating and nice!!
I wish I knew french since I do feel there were a few "lost in translation" moments. Nothing truly major though. You really shouldn't try to get to the Ryad on your own. If you were to take a cab they'd drop you off pretty far away and unless you enjoy carrying around your luggage in a chaotic environment, I recommend you simply make the arrangements for them pick you up. I wasn't truly happy with the guides they set us up with. I recommend you try and find one on your own: Finding good english speaking guides seems to be harder though. Let me highlight I didn't have a negative experience with either of them, but I when I compared to pasts guides I've had in other countries and cities I was left wanting more.
The staff were brilliant - even heading across town to buy a train ticket from the station to guarantee a ride to Rabat. The food and spa was also top notch.
The staff in Bellamane could not be more helpful or wonderful. I arrived at the ryad at 10am and was given the key to my room after a lovely welcoming mint tea and tour of the premises. The rooms are fabulous and the whole ryad is comfortable, clean and welcoming. Checkout was at midday but my flight was not until 8pm. The staff offered me the use of another room to store my bags and to have a shower and change. Highly recommend!!
There does not appear to be that many other tourists in the area which is great, but for solo female travellers it could be quite unnerving. I found everyone in the area more than happy to help me find the main square, but coming home at night I made sure that I wasn't coming home that late.
Decor Friendly helpful staff Pool Comfortable rooms Onsite Hammam and Spa Food
Aircon stuggled a bit against the heat
Everything! Attentiveness of the staff, the food, comfort.
The construction noise got a bit loud some days. That's the only downside.
This is a boutique ryad with only a few suites that offers a great accommodation (with a local flair) at a very affordable price. Mix of modern and traditional decor, real attention to detail (mint tea and home made biscuits at arrival, bottles of water in the room, change of good quality amenities on a daily basis, deodorized stones in the rooms to provide a nice aroma in the room/bathroom, ready /provided towels in the resting/swimming pool areas, very subtle music being played o in the background). Nice, very refreshing swimming pool with an idyllic ambiance (surrounded by greens and small lovely birds flying around). Nice rooftop terrace, great for a relaxing evening with shisha and mint tea. Breakfast was ok, I missed a local touch (some Moroccan bread/masemen could have been provided) the service could have been a little bit faster Ryad also offers spa packages. Bit pricy but worth as the traditional hammam was an excellent experience. Customer service was excellent. Highly recommended.
Staff were considerate and fantastic. Food excellent. Very beautiful place
Fabulous Staff, Great Food, a litlle piece of luxury in the madness which is Marrakech !
The staff is helpful and friendly, the ambiance is great, the hotel decor is fantastic, nice breakfast.
Noise from the street did not allow us to sleep at night, maybe it was only a problem of our room ( Berber). The prices for all the services offered (meals, day trips, transportation) three or four times higher than you can get outside the hotel.
I liked the interior, the rooms were spacious and clean, the staff was really helpful. We asked one of the young boys how we can get to the square and he walked with us almost the whole way. The pool is really great and liked spending time in the pool area. Overall the atmosphere there is unique and I am very satisfied with my choice.
We had problems with the air conditioning but the staff reacted fast to solve it. The airport transfer is a little bit expensive but on arrival it is better to book it since you can get lost otherwise.
The kindness and reactivity of Yunes, the young man in charge of almost everything for the guests (breakfast, dinner, luggage, bill,...). The ryad was very quiet and very clean. The decoration is really nice with a very good taste and no fault anywhere.
The design suite is beautiful but nothing is convenient or comfortable. You can almost not seat on the sofa as it is too narrow. There is no comfortable chair to sit in. The shower dome is beautiful but too low so that my husband always bumped his head in. There are no curtains in the bedroom/shower which is annoying for the privacy. I could never look myself in the mirror as there were in fact 4 and not one for my size. The quality of the mattress was average. And there is no furniture to store the luggage. To put it in a nutshell it looks like the person who designed this suite never tried to live in it. We had dinner and thought it was really expensive for what you get. The soup was tasteless and the chocolate mousse very liquid. The mains were served in small portions and not really tasty.
This ryad is an oasis in the city. Walk through the door to peace and tranquility. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast on the upper terrace - though you can take it anywhere you wish. Well equipped and decorated rooms. The whole experience is a welcomed respite from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.
Not a lot. Just 3 minor minor things niggled me: I made a mistake with the booking - and it took a bit of discussion to sort it out. I admit I made the 1st mistake but the solution could have been easier to reach but getting to a final decision in morocco takes time doesn't it! It is impossible (or was for me) to keep the shower water in the roll top bath and I soaked the room. So did my partner - sorry!! But we couldn't help it. I thought €10 for tea for 2 was a little excessive. In other places it's maybe about €6. However none of the things would put me off staying at this ryad and I recommend it totally. I would definitely go back there when in Marrakech
It was all great, we had a lovely time! Friendly, helpful staff, lovely atmosphere, beautiful building, lots of space, peace and calm.
Difficult to find even with the map from the hotel!
Highly recommended - Jamal and his staff could not have been more welcoming to us on our first visit to Marrakech. We will be back.
The beauty of the all space and the terrasse. Food was good too. Lovely and professional the staff.
Some smell of dump in the rooms could be managed better.
The basement games room with pool table, chess table, chesterfield sofas and heated plunge pool! The room was comfortable & the bed was massive too.
The lack of good directions/map provided to find the riad - it was in a poor part of town & was hard to find, so it was easy to be spotted by young men who wanted to "help" us find the place. Easily avoided with an adequate map.
We loved the style of the hotel, the tranquillity of the ryad when coming in from the crazy mad streets of Marrakech.
Our room was not cleaned for two day, we had to go looking for towels. The wine prices were not listed anywhere, little shocked to have been given a £50+ bottle of red wine, which was only apparent on paying the bill on departure.
