The staff is helpful and friendly, the ambiance is great, the hotel decor is fantastic, nice breakfast.

Noise from the street did not allow us to sleep at night, maybe it was only a problem of our room ( Berber). The prices for all the services offered (meals, day trips, transportation) three or four times higher than you can get outside the hotel.

I liked the interior, the rooms were spacious and clean, the staff was really helpful. We asked one of the young boys how we can get to the square and he walked with us almost the whole way. The pool is really great and liked spending time in the pool area. Overall the atmosphere there is unique and I am very satisfied with my choice.

We had problems with the air conditioning but the staff reacted fast to solve it. The airport transfer is a little bit expensive but on arrival it is better to book it since you can get lost otherwise.

The kindness and reactivity of Yunes, the young man in charge of almost everything for the guests (breakfast, dinner, luggage, bill,...). The ryad was very quiet and very clean. The decoration is really nice with a very good taste and no fault anywhere.

The design suite is beautiful but nothing is convenient or comfortable. You can almost not seat on the sofa as it is too narrow. There is no comfortable chair to sit in. The shower dome is beautiful but too low so that my husband always bumped his head in. There are no curtains in the bedroom/shower which is annoying for the privacy. I could never look myself in the mirror as there were in fact 4 and not one for my size. The quality of the mattress was average. And there is no furniture to store the luggage. To put it in a nutshell it looks like the person who designed this suite never tried to live in it. We had dinner and thought it was really expensive for what you get. The soup was tasteless and the chocolate mousse very liquid. The mains were served in small portions and not really tasty.

This ryad is an oasis in the city. Walk through the door to peace and tranquility. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast on the upper terrace - though you can take it anywhere you wish. Well equipped and decorated rooms. The whole experience is a welcomed respite from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.

Not a lot. Just 3 minor minor things niggled me: I made a mistake with the booking - and it took a bit of discussion to sort it out. I admit I made the 1st mistake but the solution could have been easier to reach but getting to a final decision in morocco takes time doesn't it! It is impossible (or was for me) to keep the shower water in the roll top bath and I soaked the room. So did my partner - sorry!! But we couldn't help it. I thought €10 for tea for 2 was a little excessive. In other places it's maybe about €6. However none of the things would put me off staying at this ryad and I recommend it totally. I would definitely go back there when in Marrakech

The beauty of the all space and the terrasse. Food was good too. Lovely and professional the staff.

Some smell of dump in the rooms could be managed better.

The basement games room with pool table, chess table, chesterfield sofas and heated plunge pool! The room was comfortable & the bed was massive too.

The lack of good directions/map provided to find the riad - it was in a poor part of town & was hard to find, so it was easy to be spotted by young men who wanted to "help" us find the place. Easily avoided with an adequate map.

We loved the style of the hotel, the tranquillity of the ryad when coming in from the crazy mad streets of Marrakech.

Our room was not cleaned for two day, we had to go looking for towels. The wine prices were not listed anywhere, little shocked to have been given a £50+ bottle of red wine, which was only apparent on paying the bill on departure.

The roof terrace is dream-like. Where we had superb breakfasts and sunbathed. The basement heated 35c spa pool, 4m x 4m was quite amazing, whilst sipping a mint tea. All the staff were excellent, especially Jamahl, who we found welcoming, friendly, professional and discreet. Siham runs the show and is extremely professional and utterly charming. Our Retro room was on 1st floor, with beautiful room and small suite. Bathroom was fantastic with and extra long slipper bath. Easy and interesting 15 minute walk to the square. Ace restaurant, Ibrahim 2 on walk to square. V sweet, candle lit with top food. We had dinner on our first night at the Riad, which is a special occasion befitting King Mohammed 1V himself. My partner counted Jamahl had lit 46 candles in our private dining room. 46! Hard to describe how lovely the Riad and the staff were. The Riad is situated in a real part of the Medina, with local butchers, patisserie, food stalls etc. We found it very safe with and easy to get anywhere. Outside the Riad my top tips are, go on many caleches inside the medina, drink mint tea overlooking the square at Grand Balcon café and have lunch at the exquisite Riad dar donab. (no booking required) makes the maison arabe feel like mcdonalds.

Outdoor pool was very cold. Although on own webste states patio pool is heated.

The service was great. When u arrive the serve you marrocan tea. The pool is special as also the dinner in the room next to the pool: candle light all over (perfect for romantic dinner - or more). For washing clothes they didn't charge! Great service-you feel you are home. Also the hamam (as a couple) and the massage were special wonderful. Perfect relaxation. But the best of the house is definitely the area in the cellar: there is a pool billard table, fire place with a great comfortable couch and also a pool in the room. Like in a movie out of the old casablanca days. Just take the tea and relax. The riad offers also marrocan wine, which you can drink at the wonderful terasse.

Splendid Ryiad, we loved it. The staff was also very gentle and available. All is made to be perfect.

Some little problems with Internet access. The location is also not the best but the ryiad is worth to stay there.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The place is stunningly lovely and a wonderful oasis of calm away from the souks. Breakfast was delicious and really set you up for the day. Would love to go back...tomorrow!

Everyone was so welcoming and eager to please. From the moment we walked in we were spoilt. The Riad was beautiful and kept in immaculate condition, and we enjoyed the roof terrace, pool area and games room as well as the spa facilities. I can't recommend this Riad enough. We never wanted to leave!

Traditional authentic Moroccan atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful fittings.

Limited choice for evening meal - €30 set three course meal only plus wine, very poor area of Marrakech on doorstep.

Djamel and Azis were such great hosts, nothing was too much trouble - they made our stay perfect. It is billed as a calm oasis - it certainly feels calm - and I can't recommend it enough!

Fabulous Riad, I've been to Marrakesh 4 times now and this is by far the best place I've stayed in. Pure romance and relaxation, and a great place to retreat to in the heat of the day for a chill by the pool.
