Very friendly people, nice place by itself, good breakfast. Thanks to Adil for the evening excursion & nice cooking class.
Location. Ask owners to pick you up or rent a car. Otherwise-taxi drivers will try to "rob" you.
- it is in beautiful garden - the owner and his wife are nice and helpful - if you want they can prepare food for you
it is quite far from town center if you dont have a car, but the advantage is that you stay in quiet place
perfect quite place, kind staff, good breakfast, washmachine!
everything, the young couple who run the place where lovely, professional , friendly, efficient, the food was amazing, the dogs , cats , frog and birds great fun, anyone looking to be outdoors in a safe location with good people will like it here, beautiful night sky, takes a little time to slow down to the lovely pace of life here.
Great staff, nice conversations and tips for travellibg in Morocco. Great berber tent, clean, cozy and comfortable. Good location, within walking distance from Ouarzazate (quite far still), but when you have a car or take a taxi it is pretty close. The remote location made it really comfortable to stay, we booked two nights at first, then a two-day 4WD desert tour. When we returned we decided to stay another night, and another and another. We really enjoyed it here.
A berber tent comes without arcon of course, and Ouarzazate is pretty warm in august, also during the night. But we could borrow a fan from the owner, so it was pretty much solved.
It is really isolated, we really liked the peace after Marrakesh. They also have a lot of animals (baby cats and dogs! :)), breakfast is enormous and we were greeted by a big teapot of Moroccan whiskey.
They didn't know we have made a reservation! But since we were the only two guests in the resort (it probably was a consequence of travelling in July and the fact that they had Ramadan), it wasn't a problem for them to set us our Bivouac.
The place seems like an oasi, the garden is very beautiful and the owner is amazing!Very friendly, we felt like home! We had a nice dinner with Tanjine and omelette berber (delicious!) and the breakfast was perfect with orange juice, coffee, milk, crepes, bradetc.A good choice if you are looking for a different experience!
We loved: 1)The people- Adel and Camille are great hosts and I enjoyed sharing conversations with Adel. 2)The garden- It is full of birds and birdsong and at night frogs and insects. They have olives, pomegranates, almonds, oranges and apricots. 3) The palms- The camp is surrounded by palm trees which you can walk through. 4)The ethics- Adel and Camille's campsite works with the community and are involved with great social organisations. They sell crafts by handicapped people in the area and the farm is organic. 5)The food- We had the best homemade meals here. Adel is a fantastic chef and we tasted q lot of new cuisine. This is such a peaceful place with good intentions run by a wonderful couple and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic experience that is also socially responsible. They offer many activities ranging from camel rides, visits to the lake, treks or you can relax in the gardens all day.
We stayed in a tent, the bedding was clean and there were plenty blankets supplied which we needed as we stayed on a windy and stormy night, but were still cosy. The food in the dining room was excellent! Would recommend eating there.
The tents were a little shabbier than we expected.
A small, low-key site just outside Ouarzazate, with very friendly and helpful staff.
Our tent door didn't quite close, so felt a little exposed at times.
We loved the calm & tranquility, the beautifully presented (and delicious) breakfast, our great value for money day-trip, the kindness & hospitality of the staff (tea when we arrived - much appreciated) and the cosy hut (so many blankets we couldn't possibly be cold).
Hmm, the location. Whilst I loved being away from a main street and other tourists, my partner didn't quite agree. A short walk to the astonishgly beautiful kasbah at sunset (2km away), led us past dozens of locals who either ignored us, stared at us or, occasionally, insulted or mocked us. Remember you're staying in a residential area! Take a taxi to the town or have an uncomfortable, unnerving and long walk there(!).
Room was ok for the price. The guesthouse/camping is located in a remote place. Food was overpriced and disgusting, chicken couscous smelled with soap. So eat elsewhere, never tried such a bad cooking in Morocco.
Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Berber tent was a fun experience. Helpful staff.
Location was far from town (without a car). A 40 dirham taxi ride into town. Toilet paper was lacking at times.
The staff was helpful and tried to solve the problems. Dogs were for free and we could park our motorbikes inside the fenced camp ground. The restaurant offered good tasting food and breakfast was ok as well. There was a washing machine for laundry (30MAD). The berber tents looked interesting - maybe for summer time. Room was big.
We had booked for 3 nights and when we saw the place we instantly changed it to 2 nights only. The heating did not work at all in the first night with outside temp. of +2C and even with three blankets we were badly freezing. The next day electricity went off/on again for several hours. In the evening it became more stable and we got finally some heat after they changed also the heating device. No warm water in the first morning. Wifi only in the restaurant. It felt like there was sand everywhere.
Not recommended in winter. Perhaps summer is better but the indoor space isn't very welcoming. All in all, it was overpriced based on the accommodations and environment.
friendly people and nice place.
maybe winter is not the best time to be there: quite cold at night!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very quiet garden, tents and rooms. Safe grounds, great breakfast.
Difficult to find, but staff was happy to assist by phone. You need a car to get there and away and also to visit Ouarzazate in the evenings if you want.
The friendly, personal service. THe evening meal and breakfast were first class - all taken in a very special enviroment. I would definately recommend it!
Berber style tents...very atmospheric....food delicious and prepared As requested...lovely hosts....found good guide to take us trekking in the mountains....no negatives.
A very charming place with very helpful staff....and a washing machine! Also ate there and the food was quite good.
As described, its 1 km from the village of Tarmigte. So best if you have a car, want to take a taxi most places, or like to walk.
