Chems Bleu

The staff could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location is perfect - just inside the medina, close to the sea and a few minutes from the Marrakech bus stop. Breakfast was a delight - sitting on the terrace overlooking both sea and roofs. Rooms are charming. The whole experience was wonderful.

In the heart of the medina - 5 minutes from all the main streets and ocean. Large, clean, comfortable room with helpful friendly staff. Lovely fountain area, like having a garen indoors. Free internet access in the lounge very useful for onward bookings.

Dark, somewhat smelly lane with hovering mosquitos, leading to the riad, but once through the blue door it seemed miles away.

The room was lovely, well proportioned and lots of character. The beautiful high windows provided a lovely view of the courtyard. The shutters allowed you to keep them open lettin in the cool air, providing privacy and insects and preventing insects from coming in. The view of the beach from the rooftop terrace where we had breakfast was great. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to help, a real asset to the place. The room was cleaned every day. The place had an authentic Moroccan character. A really lovely experience. Would stay there again without any hesitation.

Everything inside the Riad was superb, so this is really of no great consequence - the bathroom door had holes in it so you have to feel comfortable with that, a way around it is to close the bedroom doors. There is a fairground behind the Riad which played extremely loud music till 12:30am. Not sure if this is a permanent occurance or seasonal. The passage/alley leading up to the Riad was smelly and dark, a little daunting till you get used to it.

Great hotel - cozy and intimate. Nice design of the hotel and very friendly and discreet staff. Latifa not only greeted us at the bus station but also gave us a very memorable welcome as well as goodbye - probably the best hotel 'receptionist' I've ever delt with. Highly recommended!

I guess if there's anything to complain about it would be the lack of a bathroom door - there's a curtain - and the fact that it also has a window with what is supposed to be mirrored glass - it is not. But I guess if you're really comfortable wletting your partner hear your every bathroom activity the it's not an issue.

Very comfortable and quiet. Great views from the terrace. Helpful staff. Spacious and stylish rooms.

Excelente Riad, confortable, comoda, tranquila, etc... la mejor de 5 que hemos estado en Marruecos.

Grosszügiges Zimmer (chambre rouge) mit schönem marokkanischem Dekor, ruhige Lage, Pflanzen im Innenhof, tolles Frühstück

Schwierig zu finden, da nicht ausgeschildert und über eine dunkle, unscheinbare Gasse zugänglich

Rommet vårt hadde nydelig takterrasse med utsikt. Fint å kunne benytte kjøleskapet i felles kjøkken. Svært sentralt og kort vei til stranden.

Det var lukt fra avløpet i dusjen, dette bør renses.

Personal äusserst hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Sehr schöne Lage an der Stadtmauer mit Blick auf den Hafen und das Meer. Geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer rund um den schön bepflanzten Innenhof. Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir au Chems bleu. Notre achmbre était ravissante et l'acceuil en même temps très chaleuruex et très professionnel.
