This must be one of the most fantastic locations in Morocco. You really feel as though you are on the edge of the world, with the clouds drifting over the tips of the High Atlas just over the valley from the terrace. We ended up staying an extra night here - that says it all!

It's a "bit" difficult to find! You have to ask in the village of Imlil and someone will point you the way up a small, steep path. It's NOT in the village of Aroumd as shown on the map - that's up a further 3k of steep and rough track. Don't ask me how I know that!

+ Internet at a desktop PC + very friendly host + donkey ready for hire on arrival + great choice of food + save location + very quiet

    - no wifi - limited hot shower water - food very delicous, but a bit overpriced - little privacy in some rooms - location about 500 m up the hill from the city center

The Host/Manager was helpful and speaks good English. Good Room service. The Hotel terrace view of the mountains were delightful. The Night view from the terraces were incredible Very Easy to start Hiking towards one of the mountains from the hotel. Lunch and Dinner was good amount and delicious.

Location is quite high up - require some fitness to trek up and down inorder to reach the main town Imlil. Night-time the trek to hotel is dark and need to be done very carefully with a torchlight. Breakfast not as good as other Riads/Hotels.
