Ideally situated in the medina -very helpfull owner - well kept tastefully decorated rooms. Clean and tidy with hot showers
Breakfast would have been nice but there were adequate self catering facilities
Brothers Hashim and Mohammad were very helpful and the residence is very pleasant. We would definitely stay here again if we returned.
I liked the decoration of hostel and hospitality. Location was perfect right in the beginning of town. Only thing i can think that needs improvement is wifi access not there in the room but thats minor thing. I really recommend this hostel to anyone who will travel to chefchaouen!
Location, Bright room with big window, confortable shared space
Bugs bite me 34 times, my friends 52 times in one night in our room !! Bugbites are itchy, big, hard and red T.T But other rooms are all right. Is it just mosquito...?; There are only 2 bathrooms in whole hostel. And you should ask hot water whenever you take a shower. If not, you should take a shower in cold water. My other friends check their luggage in my room after checkout, because their bus time is evening. When we come back, hostel owner forbid their shower and insist that checking luggage is extra one. But I don't understand.. I have already travelled for 3 month in Africa and Europe, I always check my luggage in my hostel. If not, how I can get on afternoon~night bus??;; Am I wrong~?; I don't know...
What a lovely place! Very cosy, nice kitchen and a chill place, cute rooms and nice people that we met there. Also the location is very good - quiet and just above the main square.
We took the room on the very last floor, which first sounded like a good idea but it was incredibly hot and the fan didn't help much.
Location was good.
The owner was very monu oriented, we asked for a trip to the waterfall nearby, he quoted us 500dm while normally only cost 300.. And there's bed bugs in one of our friends room.. Overall it wasn't a pleasant experience. Go somewhere else if you can.
Located in the city medina Chefchaouen, the main alley, 15 min bus station. It is a Moroccan-style hostel clean, modest and friendly staff. Suitable for a night or two in transit.
No hot water in the shower,
Staff was really helpful and they had great atmosphere. Small and clam Riad middle of medina. Great value for money!
Great location middle of medina, but a lit bit hard to find at first. You may need to spend small money.(it's easy and safe way in morocco) It wasn't really cleaned place.
Cute facilities and room. The best hotel in Morocco for me!
Private room. Good kitchen facilities.
I email both Booking.com and Dar Antonio to make a modification to my reservation. Transportation challenges prevented me from arriving on my original arrival date. I emailed 2 days prior to arrival. I received a confirmation email from Booking.com, but nothing from Dar Antonio. I send a 2nd message with no response. When I arrived the hotel insisted pay the additional night and forced me to upgrade my room. Poor customer service.
Excellent location in the medina, very helpful staff, good enough Wi-Fi, superb views from the top room. Clean shared toilets, clean beds and sheets. Very nicely decorated. Try the downstairs bathroom that resembles a cave. Excellent value for money.
Very steep stairways. Not a problem for me but I can see it being a problem even for someone not incapacitated. You have to ask for the hot water to be turned on. Again, not a big problem for me. Very difficult to find, you'll probably have to pay someone to take you there the very first time.
Antonio and your brother are excellent people
Lovely place and decoration; cosy. easy access to anywhere in Chefchaouen
Hot water heater needs repair or improvement
having shower freely , not just once at one day
Everything was perfect. The location could not be better and Antonio is always there to help with anything you need. Best place in Chefchaouen!!
The atmosphere was brilliant, it is the absolute best of morocco showcased in a quaint and relaxed hotel. Antonio was also wonderful, he invited us to mint tea and introduced us to all the others staying. This place has a hostel vibe, with a shared kitchen, shared bathrooms, and people hanging out in the common areas. But the noise is not a problem and you get your own room. The best of both worlds!
Water pressure in the showers was weak, but you can't have everything :P
Solo female traveler here. Felt very safe & welcome. Antonio (the owner) was always helpful & kind. The wifi is V. fast. Also, don't be put off sharing (the very clean) bathrooms. There's 3 between 7 rooms so it's not a problem. Highly recommend!
The style and the view are perfect.
Very nicely decorated - lots of local color. Nice staff, good location.
Decor,Price and location
My booking were given to another group and the receptionist gave me his own room to spend the night, he says that Booking.com do confirm with out checking with hotel??? and i have paid 245 MD, still waiting for my visa to check if Booking.com charge me nor not.
Excellent location, very bright and unusual design, helpful staff and owner.
Shared bathroom, and you need to ask staff to turn on heater for the hot water.
We really enjoyed staying at this hostel. The owner was friendly and very helpful, the place was spotless and the sitting/chillout area was fantastic. Would recommend to all age groups
The ryad is in blue like chaouen. The rooms are pretty but the best is the common shower that is an amazing cave!
No heating. No breakfast. But you can prepare it on your own in a cool kitchen open to everybody.
