The breakfast. Although it's include the choice was poor. WiFi was very slow
Short walk to the markets. Staff were friendly. Rooms where nicely decorated & beds where very comfortable
Great design, extremely friendly staff. Location is good, although slightly hidden away. Very good value.
It is possible that the negative things were present only in our room which was on the ground floor. You can basically hear everything going on outside in the patio. It is in addition a bit weird not to be able to lock (or even close) your room when you leave.
Well furnished, impeccably clean and very friendly staff that let you have your breakfast at practically any time
Clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms, beautifully decorated. We were greeted by the amicable host Abdou who catered to all our needs and led us to restaurants and Jemaa el Fna which is a good 15 minutes walk away. He prepared us with traditional Moroccan breakfast each morning and pungent Moroccan mint tea. There was also a living hall for board games or afternoon tea. Made us felt just like home away from home!
The posibility of paying with credit card
Abdou was charming, made us very welcome, and did all he could to make us comfortable. The same goes for the other staff. We hope that they are appreciated and well paid by the owner.
Because we arrived at night, the location was a bit worrying but daylight resolved our problem.
Madame christiane and abdou provided superb attention, service, welcome and beautiful food. Really exceptional.
Jemma El Fna was too unreal (very touristy). Having to pay cash for our stay - although pre-warned I forgot until the last night and then had to treck to Fna square for the cash!
Staff were very helpful and patient when we got lost (twice!). Walking round the medina and the dyers' quarter & souk des babouches.
Abdou, our host, did not speak hardly any English. He was quite willing to come and find us when we got lost, though. The riad is located kind of far from the nearest parking area, and the luggage porters were very demanding of a tip over what we had agreed on.
The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was nice. There was a heater in the bathroom which added comfort.
The hosts and staff were extremely attentive and ensured our stay was truly memorable. the Riyad's location was ideal and provided a tranquil sanctuary amidst the hustling Medina. enjoying breakfast and sunsets on the roof terrace added to the fantastic experience.
We had a very nice stay at this gorgeous Riyad just a few blocks away from Jemaa el Fna square. Very nicely decorated hotel from rooms to lobby and rooftop terrace overlooking the Medina. The family-like and excellent Moroccan dinner on the 31st added to our stay and made it a really memorable experience. Many thanks to owner Christiane and her husband and all the very friendly and helpful staff.
