Unfortunately my room had no windows and the atmosphere in the room was a bit sticky.
The personal of the Riad pick me up at the airport and brought me to the Riad. The taxi driver and the owner were very nice and they answered all my questions and helped me in everything I needed.

Struggled to communicate in English or French with the guy who greeted us. Poor organization, didn't seem to know what room we were in, limited service and care, couldn't get hot water in the shower, damp room. We left to early for breakfast but still got charges for a bottle of water. Got woken up in the night by the guy showing around other guests. Compared to other riads we stayed in, this was really bad :(
Good location, near to square

Entrance to hotel was not in a good state. Repair works were going on at the time of our visit. Hopefully it has improved
Great hospitality. Good sized, clean rooms. 5 minutes walking distance to markets. We felt like we were living with the locals

The rooms are a little dark, and although perfectly clean there's occasionally the problem of drain smell in the bathroom - but that's apparently quite common in Marrakesh...
The staff were super friendly and made you feel very welcome. The location is excellent; 5-10 minute walk to the souks and main square. Delicious breakfast!

Hannah was excellent hostess making me feel like at home. Bed was very comfortable, hot water in shower all the time, food was very tasty and in copious amount. Couldn't eat all because it was too much. Internet was very good, had no problem whatsoever.

No door between the room and the bathroom/toilet No facility to clean oneself with water after using the toilet (Common Muslim practice). Additional meals were more expensive than expected. No cereal with breakfast.
The staff were outstanding in their customer care. Located close to places of interest. Very cosy environment. Beautiful terrace space.

- The staff helped us get a driver for a fair price to take my husband and I through the city, meeting all the great points of Marrakesh. - Very clean. - Very receptive.

While we appreciated the (solicited) advice on day-trips outside Marrakesh, the general manager definitely pressured us to hire one of their drivers to see the Ourika Valley. When we asked about public transit options (e.g. grand taxi), he was fairly unhelpful and tried to dissuade us. We learned later that it would have been fairly easy to take this option. Similarly, we ended up paying for a driver to bring us around Marrakesh for a half day since we didn't know how far away the different sites were. Turns out, we could have easily walked to each of the places we visited. This made us feel a bit taken advantage of. Nevertheless, we recognize that the general manager is trying to sell their employees' services which is completely valid. Just know for yourselves that if you are healthy and like to walk, you can go to all the main attractions on foot from the dar.
30 minute walk from all the places you'll likely want to visit (museum, garden, square, mosque). Two minutes from a traditional (public) hammam. Lovely common spaces and clean bedroom/bathrooms. Our room was fairly plain, but suited our needs just fine. A keyed safe was available to us in our room which was nice for storing our passports. The general manager of the dar loved to chat and give advice on day trips and other things to see in the area. Breakfast was fantastic if you like breads (real american drip coffee too)!

Had a fab time staying at Dar Asdika, Mohammed was very hospitable and the other staff very friendly. Would definitely stay here again, and maybe even book the whole Riad to stay with friends.

some problem with the credit card machine, but after several tries, worked out fine. same daily breakfast. suggest some fresh fruits. stayed on the first floor, next to the kitchen. could hear some noise in the morning (cooking; guests; tv), but no big deal.
a homey b & b! a true Moroccan interior. good location. about a 7-8 minute walk to the main square, & the best part is it's quiet. ensemble artisanal (handicraft cooperative) is just around the corner from here; recommended for high-quality shopping, no touts like those found in the souk. host mohammed does & knows it all. he's superman! cooks breakfast, even for super-early pick-ups for out-of-town trips. he arranges for those trips, too. I don't know if he gets enough sleep. some guests return in the wee morning hours, & he opens the door for them. just be aware that no keys are given out to guests. welcome treat on first day: Moroccan cookies & mint tea. dinner treat on last night: omelette berbere. all truly wonderful home-made cooking. had a chance to socialize with a French couple re. our past trips. generally, a clean room. I would return here in the future.

amazing staff nice breakfast and tea service

No bathroom door, simply a curtain to separate bedroom from bathroom. When traveling with family the room felt too small at times.
This riad is a great location to the Mesina and central sights of Marrakesh. Parking is difficult in this area, however Mohamed, our host, made arrangements for parking along the street for us when we arrived by car. The area seems residential and appears safe day or night. The breakfast was plentiful too!
