Such luxury for a very good price and a perfect location and setting. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful, and the owner Stéphane was also very welcoming. We will certainly be visiting here again.

Dar Ayniwen was a lovely tranquil oasis that we were so happy to have found. We booked to stay in a Riad in the Medina but after a couple of hectic days we decided that a bit of peace and quiet was what we really needed. We booked this last minute to check in the next day and within an hour or so of booking Stephane the owner had called me to offer to send a driver to pick us up the next day. This set a really nice tone which continued throughout the stay. Upon arrival the greeting was so warm and friendly and Aziz gave us a short tour and history of the house and family and then showed us to our room. We stayed in the Tiwaline 1 suite which was truly lovely. The service given by staff was impeccable but unobtrusive and the food that we ate at the hotel was of a very good standard. We had a few spa treatments and they were also very good and value for money. My husband particularly liked the Hamman and scrub. It is a little way out from the centre of Marrakech but the resort provide a free hourly shuttle into the Medina and they were very flexible if it was just us going. Highly recommend Dar Ayniwen and I can't wait to go back.

    Nothing - everything was superb

The staff were superbly attentive while always discrete. The hotel was a wonderful haven - away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. The shuttle bus made the distance from the centre an advantage rather than a disadvantage. The hotel is a great size and the personal touch from the decor to the service made it feel more like you were staying in someone's home! We wanted a few days' relaxation and this was the perfect place to get away from it all - beautiful, peaceful and absolutely charming. Can't wait to go back.

    Absolutely nothing we didn't like.

Everything! Dar Ayniwen is a very special place. We were greeted by the manager, Aziz, on arrival at the riad with mint tea and homemade pastries; we were upgraded without asking; the gardens are beautiful, the chauffeur service to and from the city is a big plus, the waiters were very attentive, the food is delicious and clearly freshly prepared, the suites were wonderfully traditional, the owner was around a lot and very helpful. Nothing was any trouble at all to any of the staff.

The only small issue was that our driver was late in arriving at the airport to pick us up when we arrived in Marrakech which was a bit unsettling as this was our first visit to the city.

We travelled all over the world with our 3 kids (5/7/13) and this place was absolutely the best place ever. The surroundings outside the proberty are non-existing, but that doesn´t matter, because the garden with lots of birds in cages, turtles walking around and of course the pool, the kids didn´t ask for anymore - leaving the adults plenty of time for a good book. The property is so big, that the kids didn´t annoy the other guests (of which there are few even when fully booked). The food is excellent too ... We stayed in the villa with the jacuzzi - worth all the money.

Fantastic relaxing child friendly environment away from the madness of central Marrakesh. The owner and staff are very friendly and attentive to your every need. We wish we could have stayed for longer as 2 nights just isn't enough. We will return............

Service, location, facilities. Spectacular mansion and gardens unobtrusive but excellent service and food. Not a hotel, more like being a valued guest at a private home. Manager/owner Stefan is an excellent host and Aziz, the concierge always helpful. Highly recommend.

Great hotel. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and the gardens are spectacular. The shuttle bus to and from the town was very handy and the drivers were always on time and easy to find. Perfect hotel for a romantic getaway. We will definitely return.

Personal approach, owner on site to advise on locale, free cars into town, availability of staff. Very quiet location, very good food and unusual gardens.

The hotel was very stylish. Being outside the madness of Marrakech, the hotel is an oasis of calm and luxury. The grounds are stunning and the rooms beautiful. Having booked the Mucha Suite, we were offered an upgraded to the Sheherazade Suite. It was a tough choice as both were fabulous. We took the Sheherazade Suite, as it opened onto the garden and the pool. I would thoroughly recommend Dar Ayiwen. The place is wonderful, staff are extremely helpful and friendly (Aziz is a delight) and being outside the city it is idea as the hotel arrange for your collection from the airport and backwards and forwards into town more or less on demand.

It seems unfair to mention anything here but, although the lunch and evening food was very tasty, the only thing I could say is perhaps the breakfast could be a little more varied.
