Abdul at reception was consistently helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was wonderful. The room was spacious and had en-suite with reliable hot water. The location is convenient, and the view from the terrace is great. The weather, which we don't expect Dar Dalia to be able to control.

Very good location. The property is well restored and tastefully decorated, with a beautiful fireplace in the communal area that was fired up each night of our stay. Oil heaters are supplied in the bedrooms to take the chill off winter nights. Owner and staff are superbly helpful - we booked multiple nights and received a very generous upgrade. As with the previous review, we were driven to the bus station on our final day and the owner helped to purchase tickets and negotiate the cost for baggage. Very highly recommended.

We only stayed one night at Dar Dalia, but we enjoyed the stay. We were lucky enough to have the owner of the property there for our stay and he was extremely helpful, even giving us a ride to the bus station and help with buying our tickets. The breakfast was great and there was always a pot of tea available when ever you wanted. The accommodation looked like it had been renovated recently but still had a rustic charm. The location was brilliant although the town is pretty tiny so any location is probably well within walking distance. We all had a great stay at Dar Dalia.

Well placed for wandering the medina and heading for walks. Good breakfast and ok rooms. Only downside was a lot of noise from the square until quite late. But the excellent service more than makes up.

Very Nice owner Da Dalia provides VERY simple accomodations: a bed and linens (fairly comfortable), a bath with shower (only handheld), toilet and small sink, a folding chair and rickety table, no luggage racks, towels are badly worn and frayed frayed, soap is rather basic. The breakfast was good but served with lots of young children running around. This is not a relaxing or attractive place to stay. Perhaps good for young travelers.

Just inside the medina, Dar Dalia is a nice location. Chefchaouen is small so anything within the medina is an easy walk. Be sure to walk to the mosque up the hill from the riad for a very nice view of Chefchaouen. The host was very friendly and helpful, even gave us a ride to the bus station on our way out. The rooms were clean and comfortable. As a family of four we first stayed in the family room downstairs consisting of a double bed and a bunk bed, a little small for the four of us and our luggage. The second night we moved upstairs to a suite with two bedrooms joined with a shared bath. Plenty of space for the four of us. Each room had enough bed space for 3-4 people. Late night noise on the street was a little annoying. A group of people gather outside a store, one night it lasted until 1:00am, right outside our window. It wasn't an issue every night but if you are a light sleeper you may want earplugs. We stayed in two different rooms, both had issues with a barely functional shower drain. Breakfast was a little limited, basically just coffee/tea and toast.

The owner of Dar Dalia is great - very professional, but yet friendly. He arranged everything we needed (for example he made reservations and collected our bus tickets to Rabat). Dar Dalia is a simple, but very cozy place, and the roof terrace was lovely. We had breakfast prepared by the owner, simple but delicious. The location is also excellent.

We liked everything about Dar Dalia. In particular we were thankful for the warm welcome from a helpful and knowledgeable manager. The hotel is in a beautiful old house in a quiet corner of Chefchaouen's exquisite medina, with a roof terrace and rooms around a central courtyard. Delicious breakfast (which we ate with fellow guests) was included in the (reasonable) price. Rooms would benefit from fans.

Very sweet charming little place, great location just on the quiet edge of the medina. Khalid was great host welcoming us, giving great tips for eating out, site seeing and local transport options. good breakfast in lovely terrace. room was nicely decorated and clean. perfect base for exploring Chaouen. a few too many bees flying around at breakfast time on the terrace, in case you have a problem with that, not that we did.

The kindness of the owner, the tipical structure of the house, the security of the hotel and surroundings. The bathrooms are small and two rooms should share one bathroom.

This was a lovely place to stay in an amazing town. Great location on edge of medina meant that you were near the cool spring fed stream with a few cafes and restaurants and access up the mountain behind as well as being steps away from all the beautiful blue and white painted alleys which led to the centre. Lovely, lovely hosts!! Great rooftop breakfast each morning. The room for a family of 4 adults was a bit squashy and our double bed was very hard. I improvised with my thermarest but I am sure the hosts would have also helped out had I brought the problem up.

Good location in a spectacular city. Nice roof deck with great set up for hours of relaxation, including a roof top kitchen. Free wi fi. Nice sound system. Cozy and relaxed atmosphere. I was encouraged to help myself to refreshments, etc. My room had a private terrace which was splendid. It was odd to stay alone in a place, without another soul. The rooms were spartan but might be good if you needed to put a lot of people in one room on a budget. Note that they will not take a credit card - it is all cash.
