we were 3 girls staying at Dar Dalia. Location was great, owner was super nice and helpful and room was spacious and clean. We definitely recommend this place !
Location, good breakfast, good service, payment with card
I felt like I was home. I arrived very early on that day, the owner still prepared me a breakfast which supposed not included on the day of arrival. The owner knows I had to catch the bus on 7am that morning, he also prepared something for me to eat. Very kind and considerate!
The owner and the manager were both great and attended to our requirements. Breakfast up on the Terrace was a nice way to start the day with the backdrop of the mountains. Room was simple but comfortable.
The only small downside was the noise in the evening from kids playing outside. This is still a country where kids are not glued to the TV sets or computer games so really not to bad to hear them having fun outside. We had only just arrived into Morocco from a long trip from Beijing to were a little jet lagged and were sleeping early. If we would have been sleeping later in the evenings it would not have been such an issue.
Beautifully decorated, charming, great terrace with views of the mountains, lovely breakfast. Very homely and welcoming, we enjoyed spending time on the terrace just relaxing. We also had the room with a private terrace which was beautiful. Remy the owner was also very welcoming and helpful, giving us tips and information about the local area and chatting with us about our trip. The location was great, just outside of the medina so easy to find (we got very lost in the medina!) and by the river.
The layout of the place meant that when other people came in at night/got up in the morning it was a little noisy. Also Dar Dalia is right next to a Mosque which did do a call to prayer every morning around 5am. This was pretty loud but also quite beautiful and we didn't mind it, but it could bother some people.
Good location - not inside the Medinca but only a few minutes walk away. The place was clean and the terrace was comfortable. Value for money. Front door key was given so we didn't have to trouble anyone when we returned in the evening.
The owner was a little aggressive, seemed a little too concerned about not getting paid and placed responsibility on guests e.g., to turn off the lights and lock the terrace door because he was not around in the evening.
clean, good location, slept great, then had delicious breakfast on rooftop terace looking at the mountains, basically a perfect stay.
We stayed in the room with a terrace which was a brilliant extra and I would recommend it. The location is also superb as it is on the edge of the medina. The breakfast on the terrace was also amazing and a good start to the day. We miss it already
The location was great and the interior and roof terrace were good. However the beds were really hard. Everything else was fine though.
We had a room with windows out to a main street and a meeting area of sorts. During the evening many kids would be playing and making noise outside till around 12. Obviously this can not be controlled by Dar Dalia.
Very nice terrace overlooking the hillside for breakfast.
The staff leaves at night and gives guests a key to the front door. It wasn't really a problem for us, but it could be for others.
Staff is helpful and account accommodating.
No air conditioning.
Very kind staff and boss!a hotel like home!Location is wonderful!
This place is amazing! Food was delicious. Room was very nice and clean. Location is a walk distance from main sqare. Most important the Host is very helpfull and friendly.
The location, good Wi-Fi, rooftop
The first day I arrived at Dar Dalia, I was told by the owner "you are the only one to stay here today, you can use it as your home" I realized the meaning soon after, which was the owner or any other stuff won't stay at the Dar in the evening. The owner said "it's Ramadan, I go home in the evening to have meal with my family, you are free here alone!" Why I have to be a guard for the Dar as a customer? Why I have to feel so unsafe? In the end, another customers stayed, I wasn't alone, but you never know what could happen, there may be any facility trouble or another customers might not be trustable. He could hire someone to stay in the evening if he wants to go home. Or he should close the Dar during Ramadan. He wants to make money, but also wants holidays... He should not be an owner for any accommodation. At this one point, I NEVER recommend to stay here.
It was calm and tidy.
There was no air condition, only a fan. Would have paid for the extra power consumption.
Everythinh is perfect, amazing location mext to an amazing river area and 3min from medina, stuff georgeous! So helpful and kind! Definitely a must hotel in Chefchaouen! Also breakfast incredible and perfect wifi!
Nothing, everything is perfect!
Dar Dalia is a cute andalusian style house in the relaxed eastern part of the medina not far from the source Ras el Ma. The rooms are charming and manager Abdul is very kind and helpful. We would definitly stay at Dar Dalia again.
The location of Dar Dalia couldn't be more perfect. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and answered any questions we had. Breakfast on the large terrace every morning was delicious and the view of the mountains and mosque is gorgeous.
Beautiful room with private terrace. Friendly staff. Great location. Staff gave great tips for places to walk in town.
Staff is so nice. The taxi can stop in front of the hotel. Room is good. Breakfast is good on the rooftop. Washing machine is provided. The owner arranged taxi and take away breakfast for us when we have to leave very early in the morning.
A lovely Riad, Abdul the manager was so helpful and friendly. Mint tea on the roof terrace was special. Have already rebooked for a return visit in June.
Nice well run Riad in excellent location - probably best in Chefchaouen - close to waterfall and main square. Rooms are good with balcony.Terrace very nice for breakfast with good views.Food good
Thank you Abdul for a fantastic stay. Great location, so close to everything. The beds were the most comfortable we have slept in on our whole 3 month trip to Morocco. The breakfast on the terrace was great, the local cheese served was amazing. A special thank you for looking after my daughter when she was sick, and for finding us great accommodation for our extra day, even though everything in the town was booked for the music festival.
The owner was really helpful and good guy!
Abdul, the manager, is exceptionally efficient. Everything is explained up-front as if he anticipates guests' questions. He is also the one who serves breakfast, which is very nice. The riad is located a few minutes' walk from both Uta el-Hammam (main square) and Ras el-Maa (waterfall).
Our room had a terrible stench of raw sewage. It seemed to be coming from outside our room, because it was strongest on our private terrace, keeping us from enjoying it. At night the smell came through the window impeding sleep.
