it's a bit difficult to find the place (an advice : ask tourist informations in the city center)
nice people - beautiful place - wonderful location - very good value for money - excellent breakfast

- In the summer it would be great, but in March, even with the radiator, the room was kind of cold at nights - Be careful with the room behind. It's just next to the mosque and some days (not all) at ~5pm, there's a very long sala'a that totally wakes you up
- Great staff - Nice breakfast - Very nice terrace (though we couldn't use due to rain) - Just next to the amazing waterfalls of Chefchaouen

Contrary to previous reviews, the manager/host was not very friendly and hospitable.
The hotel is very close to the city center and everything is clean. The price is very good for what is offered.

Very low privacy--you can hear everything going on outside the room. The breakfast area was not heated well.
Friendly owner (Remy) and the breakfast was good. Nice location!

We like everything here. Chefchaouen is a lovely place to visit. Our host Remi is a very kind man. We got excellent breakfast. Very clean, neat and cozy room with heating and hot shower. Thanks for everything Remi!

Great room, very impressive style, comfy bed, very cosy place close to a waterfall. Pleasant staff, gave us instructions of the town happenings. Very impressed overall

- towels smelled a little bit smokey of cigarets
- owner very helpful, called a taxi for us etc. - nice breakfast - great location

We loved our stay here. It is in a great location, with the mountains in the background (lovely to sit on the rooftop terrace), nice fresh breakfast included, good wifi in the rooms, big clean bathroom ensuite, and all for a very decent price. The common area has a fireplace where guests can sit around and mingle. There are only 6 rooms so it all feels very intimate and cozy. The manager Abdul is a character and joked around with us and made us feel like old friends. I would gladly stay here again.

the location was great since we could walk everywhere yet it was also accessible by car (just in case you bought a lot of souvenirs like us). both the manager and owner were very nice and helpful! we would definitely stay here again

After travelling for 5 days, arriving at Dar Dalia felt like coming home. Remi our host was the most hospitable person I've ever met in a hotel. Giving us an update on the city and its specifities on arrival. The room was great and authentic with a nice terrace fitting in with the fantastic surroundings of chefchaouen. Breakfast was amazing, everything fresh and prepared for our wishes. On the last day Remi brought us to the busstation in his own car instead of calling a taxi. It truly gave our stay in Chefchaouen an extra dimension. Would love to come back just for another stay here.

The guesthouse was clean, warm and comfortable. The location was 5 mins from the central square. We would have liked to stay here a couple of days extra! Great value for money.

Abdul very efficient and looking for the best for the customers. - best breakfast in Marrocco: marroccaine bread, yogurth, orange juice, churros, olives, cheese, fresh fruit - friendly atmosphere: tea and biscuits in the terrasse as welcome. Warm fire in the evenings with music, tea, biscuits and fruits - electrical heating - iman prays of near mosque are long and beautiful

- Best hotel coffee on our trip! Abdoul made it nice and strong, and brought us extra! - The towels and linens were of excellent quality - towels were new and there were plenty of places to hang them! - The bed was comfy for two people, and extra seating in the room was nice to have. - Everything was nicely decorated. - Excellent location for taxi drop off and walk through the town.

The manager of the place Abdul, was extremely helpful and very nice. He gave extremely useful tips on avoiding the touts in chefchaouen, great recommendation about places to visit and where to eat. For an authentic real experience of this beautiful town make sure you ask Abdul. You won't be disappointed. The place is in a great location, good access to the mountains and also a place whoch is accessible directly by taxi. Old media is only four minutes walk away! Wifi accessible all over the hotel and a great strong shower comoared to other places in Morocco.

we were 3 girls staying at Dar Dalia. Location was great, owner was super nice and helpful and room was spacious and clean. We definitely recommend this place !

Location, good breakfast, good service, payment with card
October 15, 2014
I felt like I was home. I arrived very early on that day, the owner still prepared me a breakfast which supposed not included on the day of arrival. The owner knows I had to catch the bus on 7am that morning, he also prepared something for me to eat. Very kind and considerate!

The only small downside was the noise in the evening from kids playing outside. This is still a country where kids are not glued to the TV sets or computer games so really not to bad to hear them having fun outside. We had only just arrived into Morocco from a long trip from Beijing to were a little jet lagged and were sleeping early. If we would have been sleeping later in the evenings it would not have been such an issue.
The owner and the manager were both great and attended to our requirements. Breakfast up on the Terrace was a nice way to start the day with the backdrop of the mountains. Room was simple but comfortable.

The layout of the place meant that when other people came in at night/got up in the morning it was a little noisy. Also Dar Dalia is right next to a Mosque which did do a call to prayer every morning around 5am. This was pretty loud but also quite beautiful and we didn't mind it, but it could bother some people.
Beautifully decorated, charming, great terrace with views of the mountains, lovely breakfast. Very homely and welcoming, we enjoyed spending time on the terrace just relaxing. We also had the room with a private terrace which was beautiful. Remy the owner was also very welcoming and helpful, giving us tips and information about the local area and chatting with us about our trip. The location was great, just outside of the medina so easy to find (we got very lost in the medina!) and by the river.
September 22, 2014
The owner was a little aggressive, seemed a little too concerned about not getting paid and placed responsibility on guests e.g., to turn off the lights and lock the terrace door because he was not around in the evening.
Good location - not inside the Medinca but only a few minutes walk away. The place was clean and the terrace was comfortable. Value for money. Front door key was given so we didn't have to trouble anyone when we returned in the evening.
September 22, 2014
clean, good location, slept great, then had delicious breakfast on rooftop terace looking at the mountains, basically a perfect stay.
September 17, 2014
We stayed in the room with a terrace which was a brilliant extra and I would recommend it. The location is also superb as it is on the edge of the medina. The breakfast on the terrace was also amazing and a good start to the day. We miss it already
September 14, 2014
We had a room with windows out to a main street and a meeting area of sorts. During the evening many kids would be playing and making noise outside till around 12. Obviously this can not be controlled by Dar Dalia.
The location was great and the interior and roof terrace were good. However the beds were really hard. Everything else was fine though.
