Everything was perfect, but if I had to be fussy, it would have been nice to have a kettle/tea/coffee making facilities in the room. However, you only had to ask and Geoffrey/the Dar Dalila staff would bring you anything you wanted. We just felt bad later in the evening asking them for teas/coffees. But truly it is impossible to be negative about such a beautiful retreat!
Geoffrey and his staff were incredibly hospitable, always on hand to help, give advice or recommendations or make us comfortable. We couldn't have asked for more.
The Dar itself is just a 10 minute walk from the medina, this means that you are overlooking the beautiful hills and countryside around Fez and can enjoy its peaceful surroundings. A welcome break for us after the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh.
Dar Dalila is both traditional and opulent, we were blown away by its amazing decor, and attention to detail. It is truly sublime and spotlessly clean.
We were given an upgraded room on arrival which was enormous, beautiful and comfortable.
Finally, make sure you order an evening meal there - their cook is fantastic and prepared us a wonderful evening meal the night we arrived. Fantastic Moroccan cuisine, and such treatment, we were so delighted. Breakfasts are also plentiful, with enough to keep us full all day and enjoyed from the gorgeous terrace. Simply the best!
