Very nice and freindly service, very good design.

We were charged for late arrival? 300Mad extra. You can not find the place, unless you call and someone will meet you and show were to go.

It is an excellent example of its kind. The service was superb and the friendliness of the entire staff lead by Amina, the manager, made our stay a very pleasant one.

I like the authenticity of the Hotel Interior and surroundings. And the manager and all the staff are very friendly and help you with concerns and plans in a way your family would do.

Au coeur de la médina, l'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Rabat. Contrairement à d'autres riads de Rabat, le Riad El Kebira a un véritable cachet, avec un charme indéniable et beaucoup de meubles authentiques mais ne néglige pas le confort moderne (connexion internet correcte, télé satellite). Le patio et le petit coin restaurant sont très chaleureux, c'est un plaisir de dîner près de l'âtre en hiver. Le personnel est dans l'ensemble très serviable (mais change souvent).

La salle de bain dans ma chambre était vraiment minuscule et aurait eu besoin d'un petit rafraichissement - mais toutes les chambres sont différentes.

Ho trovato molto accogliente la signora Amina che ci ha ricevuto. Tra l'altro, senza che noi chiedessimo alcunché, ci ha messo a disposizione gratuitamente una suite. Il servizio e' molto raffinato e la posizione comoda per chi vuole soggiornare nella Medina.

La camera selezionata attraverso booking non corrispondeva alle caratteristiche riportate nella presentazione del Riad. Il cambiamento di camera (per averne un'altra pessima) ha comportato un sovraprezzo di circa 50 euro al giorno. Il gestore (una signora) non era mai presenta, il riad è completamente abbandonato a se stesso. Pulizia inesistente, camere e bagni fatiscenti. Io mi sono presa un'infezione gastrointestinale grazie ad una schifosa colazione, mio marito è ripartito con un grave eritema (da sporcizia). Il tutto per l'importo di 170 euro al giorno.

l'arredamento della stanza è abbastanza bello. Molto cordiali i camerieri e disponibilissimi.

la signora del riad ci ha procurato una guida per 400 dhn per la mattinata. Al momento del pagamento ce ne ha chiesti 800 per essere stati fuori mezz'ora in più di quanto lei aveva pensato (dalle 9,30 alle 13,00). Dopo una lunga trattativa abbiamo pagato 600dhn che le abbiamo dato per non litigare (non fidatevi della guida Khalil - Claudio??). In tutto il Marocco se ne pagano al max 150 x una guida ufficiale per mezza giornata. Inoltre il riad è nel centro della medina, impossibile da trovare senza aiuto.Ci si arriva solo a piedi e con le valige è molto scomodo. Non ci sentiamo di consigliare ad amici questo riad.

Weed end du 26 au 28 mai 2012 : le charme du RIAD à taille humaine et la chaleur du personnel. La gérante est très serviable et vous donne des conseils sur les lieux à visiter, les petites astuces, etc. La décoration du RIAD est très charmante.

Ce riad est entretenu avec grand soin: décor raffiné, propreté irréprochable et bienveillance du personnel. Aucun détail n'échappe au professionalisme d'Amira qui en assure la qualité. L'ajout récent du hamam est un plus: cela donne une valeur ajoutée indéniable pour couronner une escapade. On peut se laisser faire sachant et les conseils de voyage sont toujours à propos.

Ein schönes Riad mit wunderschönem Innenhof (Kachelornamentik, Möbel), allerdings durch Um- und Anbauten etwas verbaut mit mehreren Treppenhäusern. Schöne Dachterrasse, auf der auch das reichhaltige marokkanische Frühstück serviert wird: Frische Pfannkuchen, Omeletts, Joghurt und Säfte (Freunde von Wurst, Käse & Co kommen nicht auf ihre Kosten). Das Zimmer war sehr klein (wie wir es zu diesem Preis nicht erwartet hatten) und mit handgearbeiteten Möbeln vollgestellt, das Aufstellen von zwei (kleinen) Koffern nur mit Mühe möglich. Einer der Koffer wurde wohl deshalb vom Personal jeden Morgen senkrecht hingestellt, worauf darin natürlich alles durcheinanderfiel, ein Service auf den wir lieber verzichtet hätten. Auch dass die Zimmermädchen jeden Tag aber auch jedes herumliegende Kleidungsstück einschließlich Schlafanzug in den (kleinen) Schrank hängte, z.T. auf Bügel unter die vorhandenen Kleider , hätten wir nicht gebraucht, jeden Abend lustiges Suchen! Ebenso gründlich wurde aber auch tiptop sauber gemacht, das hat man ja gern. Das Bad war gleichfalls voll von schönen Kacheln und handgearbeiteten Holzregalen, jedes Stück wunderbar und unfassbar unpraktisch, man konnte praktisch nichts abstellen. Immer wieder war die Rezeption nicht besetzt und keiner vom Personal zu finden. Hatte man jedoch jemanden aufgefunden, waren alle sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Auf der Dachterrasse und im Innenhof wurden Getränke serviert, allerdings zu völlig überhöhten Preisen ( kleine Flasche Bier 60 DH - selbst im 5* Hotel Merinides in Fès zahlt man auf der Luxus-Aussichtsterrasse "nur" 50 DH incl. Nüsse und Oliven). Leider haben wir nicht vorher auf die Getränkekarte geschaut, da stehen Bier und Wein allerdings garnicht mit drauf ... (Und in Rabat gibt es definitiv keine Möglichkeit außerhalb von Hotels und einigen Restaurants, Alkohol zu kaufen!) Die Lage des Hotels ist günstig am Rande der Medina.

Da das Hotel in einer Gasse der Medina liegt, die mit dem Auto nicht angefahren werden kann, ist es sinnvoll, den Transfer-Service des Hotels zu nutzen - der Fahrer bringt einen an eine bestimmte Stelle, von wo aus man von einem Hotelmitarbeiter mit Gepäck-Karre abgeholt wird. Das lässt sich das Hotel aber saftig bezahlen: die Abholung vom Airport Rabat mit 250 DH (ca 23 EUR) schien uns zwar überteuert, aber angesichts der Strecke noch ok. 150 DH für die (Rück-)Fahrt zum Bahnhof ist aber eine Unverschämtheit. (Petit Taxi kostet für die Strecke ca. 10-15 DH, wenn man sein Gepäck selbst die 150 m zum Eingang der Medina schleppt).

Un accueil excellent dans une très belle architecture. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse, la vue, la décoration…

Our family arrived at the riad pretty exhausted after over seas flight and were so pleased to walk into this sanctuary of peace hidden behind the walls if the medina. Location is excellent and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We felt very safe and at home. Had dinner there first night and it was very good. Breakfast in the morning on roof top but ate indoorS but was still very good.

Recieved exceptional treatment at this hotel. Ms amina who is managing this dar goes very far to make you comfortable. If you want to have a feel of the old rabat this is place to be.

Very comfortable and hospitable riad. Location was not ideal and was difficult to find. Overall a good experience of life in the medina

It was in the medina area and close to my daughter's apartment in Oudaya. Breakfasts on the upper terrace were wonderful....great views of the medina and very quiet.

Lovely Marrocan architecture, however, our rooms did not have windows to the outside, so our room were very musty smelling ...no air moving through it! Other rooms did have outside facing windows. The TV connection (sat dish) kept dropping...annoying when watching the news.
