We loved the riad since the first moment Mourad went to pick up us. At the bigining is a little bit hard to find, but then when you get used to the Medina you realize that it is in a really good and safe place into the Medina. Khadija and her mum were really respectful and really nice asking us every day how we are, but Mourad was the best person we meet in all the city. He showed us the best places where we can go, he was asking us if we would like something to eat, and giving us advices of Fes. One day, we ate outside the riad, and we became sick, Mourad bring us to our room a traditional Moroccan tea to try to make us feel better. Definetely, if we come back to Fes we will come back to this riad.

Charming atmosphere and room, attentive staff and beautiful rooftop patio

Weak wifi and stairs, narrow and winding with no elevator, might pose a challenge for some.

located in the Medina, fantastic terrace views, they arranged a wonderful local hamam experience for us and helped us print our boarding passes late at night!

wish they would offer to pick up at bus station for a fee because it is impossible to find and we did not have a cell phone to call when we reached the meeting point, guide from the hotel was not that great

Big roomy rooms, great wifi , great aircon, Great meals cooked onsite, fantastic view all in all a little gem. Easy to find, just off the main 2 'streets' in the Medina and easy to get back to if you get lost. Great value for money!

Lovely family run Riad. Laughed when I read reviewer complaint about lack of parking. It's a Medina! Parking tip: Head for Hotel Batha and park on nearby parking lot. Then a few minutes by GPS. Lovely building and rooms. Tranquil but central. Breakfast seved on lovely roof terrace.

    Nothing to dislike

Mourad, the hotel guy, was the best man. He is the competitive advantage of the Riad. He helped in each situations, gave good recommendations and made the best tea ;-)

Location - Right in the centre of the Medina Family run hotel - very welcoming Great views from the rooftop Traditional riad with great history Great value for money Staff were great with our 2 year old son

For some a warning about the amount of steps would be appreciated Parking difficult to find without help (the hotel gave help which was much appreciated)

The terrace is nice and the breakfast in the terrace is wonderful

The location is far from the Medina main entrance doors, the bedrooms are poorly furnished, the bathroom has no soap and no shower curtains, it gets all soaked whenever we take shower.

Very friendly and helpful staff, the place itself was really comfortable and well furnished. If you can't be bothered to go out for dining, this riad offers really good food for decent price.

We were unfortunate to have ants in the room for one night, which bit us.

We liked the location in the heart of the Medina of Fez but close to the areas accessible by taxi. We loved the authenticity of the decoration and the beautiful terrace on top of the house where breakfast was served to us every morning, with beautiful views of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us find places in Fes, and organised a guide for us to visit the Medina. While I would not necessarily recommend the guide, who did all the things your travel guidebook will warn you about (like dragging you to expensive shops and restaurants), I can warmly recommend the hotel. It was charming and atmospheric. If you are prepared to cope with narrow staircases and somewhat unreliable hot water, but appreciate authenticity, we think you would not regret the choice. On top of that, the hotel was great value for money.

Situated right in the medina so easy access to restaurants etc. Really helpful staff. Happy to serve breakfast on terrace even up all those stairs.

Lots of stairs. Noisy at times but don't stay in the medina if you want peace and quiet.

The staff were Very friendly! They were in contact with me via email and even met us where the cab dropped us off and walked us to the place as it may be difficult to find. They even walked us back out as it was very late at night when we left!

it's very quiet and comfortable riad, good after walking around the bustling medina. the staff was realy helpful

good location, but to find this riad into narrow streets of medina was not easy, even using gps ) we had to get help from locals for a little money.
