Set in a typically Moroccan building, Dar El Hana offers B&B accommodation in Fes Medina.
Score from 21 reviews Excellent
This Riad with a terrace offering Medina views features traditional carved wooden and plaster arches, Zellige tiles and a central patio. It is a 12-minute walk from the centre of the Old Medina of...

Dar Tahrya is a traditional bed and breakfast in the Talaâ dictrict of Fez. It offers air conditioned rooms, a hammam and two terraces overlooking the medina (historic quarter).
Score from 100 reviews Very good
there was nothing the staff would not do for you. The food was lovely
very very clean and comfortable staff serve nice breafast on roof top with excellent views
Great friendly staff, perfect location in Medina, very tasty home food
nothing to complaint
Very nice riad. Good location to visit Fez.
absolutely loved staying here. adil and fatima are so welcoming, so helpful and so warm-hearted. they made our few days in fes very special, arranging everything for us. hoping to come back again...
Everything was perfect.
The best host that we met in Morocco, good wifi, nice place for breakfast (on the roof). Beautiful room. We definately recommend this riad!
As being in the very large medina of Fes, a bit hard to find. Breakfast could have had some variety. Could not understand the purpose of plastic bags in bathroom drainages.
Clean, nicely decorated, good air con, reliable airport transfer at crack of dawn. One straight road down to one of the two main streets inside the Medina. Good wifi.
The hotel is 3 to 4 flights up which may not suit some. The street leading to the main street does not feel safe late at night.
- Rooftop view - Breakfast
- Water staying in the shower
Great service, very helpful personnel. they can help with almost everything you need and answer all questions. They always care about you. Situated in the heart of medina. Good breakfast. Nice view from the terrace.
Small bathroom. When showering, water goes out to pipe very slow.
Great location in the old medina. Nice and helpful staff. Nice breakfast.
Nice quiet lane/alley about 15 minutes walk from Blue gate where a lot if the action is, it's easy to get lost but Adil either took us to restaurant Znd the owner wLked us back if we were unsure, lots of offers to help but we were independent. Laundry bill at 100 dh was excessive for one small load in machine so I complained and they halved it. Helpful when organized pickup from bus station and taking to train fir 70 dh each way with a/c van.breakfast the usual croissants jam honey cheese bread olives and mint tea or coffee Very close to Ruined garden restaurant which was very close and lovely meal Znd setting run by Zn australian Sue!
Trying to rip me off in laundry bill. Asked for second pillow but never got.... Woukd stay again as good value fir 30 euro pn
Very friendly staff who went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed. Lovely roof terrace that looked out over the medina and was a great spot for breakfast. Hot water and air con!
The wifi didn't work the whole time we were there
the place is very well located and the house is awsome. also the staff is very nice , petit dejuner is delicious. this was one of the best places we stay during our trip in Morocco
We loved the riad since the first moment Mourad went to pick up us. At the bigining is a little bit hard to find, but then when you get used to the Medina you realize that it is in a really good and safe place into the Medina. Khadija and her mum were really respectful and really nice asking us every day how we are, but Mourad was the best person we meet in all the city. He showed us the best places where we can go, he was asking us if we would like something to eat, and giving us advices of Fes. One day, we ate outside the riad, and we became sick, Mourad bring us to our room a traditional Moroccan tea to try to make us feel better. Definetely, if we come back to Fes we will come back to this riad.
Good location, right in the medina, but quiet and peaceful. Good facilities and a great terrace. Extremenly helpful staff, Murad helped us with everything.
Staff will contact you and pick up you at nearest landscape Hotel Batha. Ensure you will get the right place. And could help you to arrange day trip around Fes. Very clean and dinner is good.
Charming atmosphere and room, attentive staff and beautiful rooftop patio
Weak wifi and stairs, narrow and winding with no elevator, might pose a challenge for some.
located in the Medina, fantastic terrace views, they arranged a wonderful local hamam experience for us and helped us print our boarding passes late at night!
wish they would offer to pick up at bus station for a fee because it is impossible to find and we did not have a cell phone to call when we reached the meeting point, guide from the hotel was not that great
Very friendly owners, excellent location within Medina, nice terrace, superb value for money. Very atmospheric, feel like in different world.
We liked everything and definitely stay here again when traveling to Fez.
Big roomy rooms, great wifi , great aircon, Great meals cooked onsite, fantastic view all in all a little gem. Easy to find, just off the main 2 'streets' in the Medina and easy to get back to if you get lost. Great value for money!
Hey this is Morrocco there's things not to like but none worth mentioning about this place!!
Lovely family run Riad. Laughed when I read reviewer complaint about lack of parking. It's a Medina! Parking tip: Head for Hotel Batha and park on nearby parking lot. Then a few minutes by GPS. Lovely building and rooms. Tranquil but central. Breakfast seved on lovely roof terrace.
Nothing to dislike
Friendly English speaking staff, breakfast was good.
Too many narrow stairs and location is far from the market.
The service, food are amazing!
