friendly and helpful staff. room was largely as advertised, clean and with toiletries. room faced the stream and some greenery. some steps to the room but that should be usual as long as long you are staying at an older apartment. apartment is in a small alley along the main room, not too difficult to locate.

The stay was great; we got a free upgrade to a suite (which having tried I will say is well worth normal price for it), the staff was so kind throughout, and the riad is in a perfect location (one side of the Medina but still accessible by taxi AND near the central plaza). Easily the best option in Chaouen

this was one of the most unique and comfortable stays I've had at an unbelievable price point. we booked the wood cabin, and they kindly offered to upgrade us for free but we loved the uniqueness of the "tiny home" styled wood cabin. the room was intelligently designed to have enough space for all our luggage. breakfast was picture perfect on the rooftop.

We enjoyed our stay at Dar Elrio in its unique wood cabin room and mountain view room. The 8:00am breakfast on the terrace was lovely with plenty of delicious food, especially Moroccan pancakes and fresh smoothies. Had a beautiful view of all of Chefchaouen and the sunrise. Thanks to Ali's restaurant recommendation, we enjoyed authentic Moroccan food at Bab Sour in the medina.

This is a hidden gem and is an excellent Riad. Photos don't do it justice. It's really beautiful and is well furnished. The staff were incredible always trying to make sure you have everything you need. They helped with the luggage and parking. (We had two large bags and they carried it all the way to the room). The room we stayed in was really beautiful and well laid out. The breakfast was really good and delicious. We did a walking tour with a guide recommended by the staff and he was amazing! ( Ask for Ahmed!) He was really patient and answered all our questions and he was genuinely passionate about the location and it's history. Would definitely recommend doing this tour with him.

This is a fantastic property, and the suite that we received was large and at the same time intimate. I had a great time having breakfast on the rooftop and had a lovely sleep as well as the beds were quite soft and so the pillows. I enjoyed looking at the stars in the night sky from my small balcony in my suite as well, and Had no problems with hot water or plumbing during my stay, which is often the case in Morocco. I must give special thanks to Ali and Yaseen, who made my stay extremely pleasant because they provide impeccable customer service and wanted to make me hot chocolate even at 11 PM at night. This type of customer service makes you want to come back to the hotel again and again! Yaseen almost even refused the tip that I was going to give him, he is such an honest man, and I would love to do business with him again

The perfect place to discover Chefchaouen from. We stayed in the Wood cabin which had a very nice view of the mountainside. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good.
