the setting and decoration is nice and the owner is certainly an interesting guy

the location is very hard to find, not well signposted. The beds were hard, to smal and to short for an adult. The food was okay but way overpriced. We paid 150 pp, highest price ever during our trip, for an average mail (comparable to a 'menu routiers' which would cost in France only 10 euros). Same goes for the breakfast, which was tipical french, bread and marmelade; okay but 5 euros is overpriced. We had higher expections after reading the reviews

The food was delicious, the owner very warm and friendly. Skoura was very peaceful and was very different than other places we visited on our trip to Morocco.

We enjoyed a very different and special week at Les Bassatines. walks in the village and into Skoura gave us a feel of the Berber life and culture. And the Moroccan food was very good.. Christophe was a very good host

The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. There was a nice view.

I didn't like the fact that the prices of the food were not posted or announced. The bill was very expensive and a bit of a surprise based on the quality. It would have been nice to have an idea beforehand. Ask before you order. Note to the owner, a menu with prices would be nice.
