Beautiful Riad. The hosts were extremely gracious and fluent in several languages including English. Dinner was outstanding. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. It is a bit off the beaten path, but is worth the search.
in the morning our car was towed away and the owner came to the riad to help us. we went with him in his car all over the city to various addresses to get hold of our car. The Riad is incredibly beautiful and renovated by master crafsmen.
Very welcoming and friendly, fantastic location and best breakfast ever!
Hard to find, a sign outside the door with the name would be helpful.
Decor Furnishing Friendly staff Personal service Mint tea
The staff were very helpful and considerate, nothing was too much trouble, it was like a home from home in a perfect location in the Medina where we wondered around many times without any hassle at all, would recommend very strongly.
Would recommend you take a detailed map with you in order to find it, the taxi dropped us in the wrong location so we had a 20 mins adventure locating the Riad but locals were very helpful..the only indication you are at the correct doorway is the number 8 above the door integrated into a wooden pattern, but once you step inside you will be impressed....
The place was new, the owner nice (only he was there the wife was out of town).
The staff were either unfriendly or really shy. The place is extremely hard to find and when I tried phoning them to get better instructions no one would answer the phone. Thank goodness for the traffic guide who knew where it was and helped us out as the hotel was not that much help. Even when we got there we just rec'd a shrug from the staff when we asked why they were not asnwering the phone....
We had a fantastic time at Riad Dar Karima. Salah was a fantastic host and recommended great restaurants and the location was perfect. He even took time out of his busy schedule to drive us to a hammam one day, which was a amazing experience. Thoroughly recommend
The owner of the hotel who is Mr.Sala was very friendly and would like to thank him especially.
Dar Karima was awesome! As soon as we entered from the busy medina, we were transported into an oasis of calm and luxury. We were offered delicious mint tea and made to feel at home right away. The whole riad is more beautiful than in the photos, and is kept in pristine condition by the lovely girls who work there. The hosts, Saleh and Najia, are lovely people who went over and above to ensure that we had the best possible experience in Rabat. (When my sister got sick, Najia made tea infusions for her, and Saleh phoned from work during the day to see if she was ok!) The breakfast was incredible, and all the food was just delicious. The location was perfect. If you're going to Rabat, this is absolutely the place to stay.
We arrived there very late but were welcomed with great smiles. The owners wife Najia called to find out if we needed anything else. At that late hour we were served with Moroccan tea & cookies. Mr Saleh, the owner & his wife were very happy to serve us with breakfast. Their Riad was the best place we stayed at in all of Morocco. And I was the first South African guest. Riad Karina is definitely the place to stay in Rabat
very nice staff and owner
a bit difficult to find without help
- annoying service - heavy smell in the room
First of all the uncomparable friendly behevior of the owners (the couple), that makes you staying in a nice amd lovely family, more than in a hotel o guest house. It is very rare to find professionality and human warmth matched together in the same host, but it happen in the case of the Ryad Dar Karima. The Ryad architecture is fantastic, very accurate in any detail and with precious pieces here and there. The room are large and very comfortable, as all is made for your comfort. The food is genuine and real Maroccan, as it is hand made from the bread to the tarte. And moerover accompanied by delicious and good company of the owners. It is very central and you can go by feet to the most inteersting places (Kasba, Semaphore, Andalous Garden, Consul Street, etc.)
It is a bit difficult to find, but the owner is always available to help you. Call him, and you'll be picked for arriving to the Ryad.
The Riad is beautiful, . The owner Saleh is such a nice host as we feel as in a family . The breakfasts were superb and the dinner was one of the best food we experienced in Morocco. thanks a lot to Saleh for the wonderful stay in hiz hotel.
Ospitality Location and room
