Very nicely done, perfect interior design. Looks as if recently renovated. Great breakfast and tea available at any time on request and was free. An absolute treasure of the Riad was Muhammed who was extremely helpful 24/7.

Very friendly and helpful staff - took us to the taxi rank at 1am when we had to leave and picked us up from outside the medina to walk us there.

    Dim lighting in rooms.

The riad is perfect for soaking up the atmosphere of the medina in Fez. The hotel is quaint and spotlessly clean. The room is very spacious and quiet. Breakfast good and plentiful. Staff friendly and confidential. Our stay was special.

Owner of hotel is really helpful, took me to a local hammam. Good location in the heart of medina in fes. Beautiful interior and cosy room. Nice terrace!

A bit hard to find, got help from a local. Had to wait two hours from set time for my room to be ready.

Lovely restored riad [old courtyard house, a quiet retreat from the hubbub of the old city of Fes. Right in the middle of things. Huge breakfast to get you going in the morning. Friendly, informative staff - extremely helpful in arranging tours and onward travel.

    Leaving.

Staff has been brilliant, offering to pick me up at Bab Bou Jaloud and then always ready to give me directions and helping with other reservation. Very quiet place.

The place is really "hidden", there is no sign on the medina streets on how to get there - and for this reason some locals may take advantage of it, asking you a few dirhams to "guide" you to the riad.

The staff made us feel very welcome in Fez! A beautiful hotel with very good traditional breakfast every morning in the center of the medina! Mohammed, one of the staff members, made us feel more than welcome by showing us around in the medina and telling stories about Marocco. Thank you very much Mohammed!!

The structure was nice as was Mohammed , one go the workers. Nice tiled bathroom.

My room was the smallest one I had of all the hotels I stayed in In Morocco and I payed more than I had before. It was impossible to do anything other than sleep in it. Other than Mohammed, the staff responded to questions as if they were an imposition. I didn't have wifi in my room.

Perfect location, close to the heart of the medina and a 15 minutes’ walk from the Blue Gate. We arrived in the evening at Fes airport and transport to Dar Labchara was organized for us. The house is a beautiful traditional Morrocan Dar, the room and linen very clean. The staff speak good English, are very helpful and make you feel welcome. Mohammed in particular will go at great lengths to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and as Mohammed explains: also food for the eyes. We recommend it.

The riad itself as a building is very nice and it is a pity that it has such a poor management.

There is no heating in the rooms (outside temperature 9 degrees Celsious), the rooms are wet and cold. The managers approach was horrid, he yelled at me when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the heating problem. He was very impolite, swearing at me in Arabic, calling me inhuman. His stuff did the same - bad English/French, arrogant behavior, no sense of service to the guests. This was the worst of the 12 riads I have experienced in Fes.

They were so kind and went WAY out of their way to help me- twice! I wish I could rate their staff higher than excellent. It's in a super good location but was a little tricky to find the first time. Breakfast was delicious. Wifi worked even in the rooms. I recommend highly.

The main room of Dar Labchara is beautiful. Breakfast is rich and excellent.

The treatment from the staff was rather cold. There was almost none else at the hotel but we were not allowed to keep our room till the early afternoon the day we left and had to empty it in the morning. There is no cleaning service of the rooms, not even replacing toilet paper and emptying the bin.

The breakfast was very complete: fresh orange juice and tea, 4 sortes of bread and 2 sortes of jam.

It was a far walk (with luggage) from the blue gate (up where a taxi can drive). The towel rek was loose. We where there for 3 days and they didn't make up the room, changed towels or gave extra toilet paper. The neighburs have a dog who is sitting in a small cage on the roof. When the dog barked (a lot, in the morning), you can hear it like he is barking next to your bed. Very sad for the animal, but disturbing for guests. No signs for finding the riad, only above the door. When a man showed us the way, we wanted to give him some dirhams (because nobody does anything for free in Morocco), but he refused. Very friendly of him so. But then the staff of the riad said something to him in Arabic and the man took the money (while rolling with his eyes). When we called on the riad and asked if we were at the right place, the staffman came out en said, pointing to his housenumber: "what number is it? 8 ok, so you're right eh' Not very polite so. The staff was always with 2 or 3. 2 out of the 3 completely ignored us. Also not client-friendly....

We were picked up from the main city gate by personnel and guided to the perfect location or the riad. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke very good english. The traditional breakfast was the best we had in Morocco.

The door of the bathroom didn't close (but that was of no real inconvenience because of the apartment's configuration)
