Amazing stay! This is our fourth time in Essaouira and our second stay here. We stayed at other highly rated riads and apartments in this city and none have compared to Dar Les Sirenes. It's a new Riad that is very modern and romantic. The price is definitely affordable for the amenities. There is plenty of hot water and large spa-like towels. Beds are super comfortable too! It's location is on a quiet street in the old medina that is still full of Moroccan life. It's a short walk from the beach and main square or a very quick (10 dirham) cab ride. We spent Valentine's day weekend here in it's 'Blonde Suite'. Said (Saeed) would have a fire started in our room for our arrival home at night. We also had two meals here cooked to perfection by Wafa. We stayed in the smaller but still very roomy 'Wild' room on our recent stay. The owners, Eduardo and Mimmi are expats from Italy that really care about the comfort of their guests. The place is ideal for a romantic getaway (the sexy jazz music playing in the lobby helps) but also roomy and affordable enough to host families. In our opinion, the best place to stay in Essaouira!

The wifi is spotty. It's not a deal breaker for us since you can still access it in the main lobby (and there are plenty of nearby cafes offering free wifi too). Plus, my husband suggested a 'fix' to Eduardo that he seemed keen to consider doing. More variety for breakfast would be nice too!
