An excellent small 18th century Riad with first class staff . Good breakfast on the terrace. We loved the fresh roses and the candles giving the place real atmosphere. We had a most peaceful and delightful week .

As with most old buildings and in particular Riads I found the stairs at aged 79 hard but worth the effort . K & M London

Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful, location is perfect just within the old city, near the port and restaurants with a rooftop terrace with a view on the port, sea and city of Essaouira. Good atmosphere

The location, atmosphere, and style of the riad, the breakfast, the confortable bed and the private terasse in the suite Belem.

Humidity in the rooms (first we had Agadir, it really smelled humid, then we had Belem, which was a bit better). On Fridalys and Saturdays there is a life music on the nexdoor terasse and it's heard everywhere in the riad. But it stops at 22:30 so it should be OK if you don't want to sleep before. Agadir room was quite noisy in the morning (probably because of breakfast preparations)
