The location is in the medina, it is ok for visiting. Room is clean. Just have a one night sleeping is ok.
They made a trade of credit card without the permission of me and I spent 100dhs to check it by international call. I am not satisfied with the way they did. The room is not very big and wifi is in poor connection. The breakfast is not included in the cost.
Said the manager is great. Nothing is too much trouble. He owns a beach restaurant you have to go to!!!!
I wouldn't want to stay there when all the rooms are full as you can hear everything.
Anna and her staff were wonderful, friendly and considerate. The terrace was beautiful and very comfortable to hang out on. Our room was adorable and very comfortable.
We loved our stay at Dar Manara, we really didn't want to leave. The staff made us feel right at home. The location in the medina at Assilah is perfect. When we wanted some quiet time the roof terrace was lovely and the resident tortoise is also cute.
Liked the ambience, especially terrace roof, sharing breakfast with fellow guests, fruit at breakfast, nice touches in the house - such as use of colour and artwork. Beds comfortable and everything very clean.
Bathroom a bit small - not a major problem.
Wonderful setting, very friendly staff - a very special place to experience
This is a very comfortable Dar, with beautiful decor and lovely, spotless rooms. The roof terrace is exceptional, with two canopies that provide shade and elegant comfort for lounging. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The manager, Said, went out of his way to assist me and accompanied me to find medical assistance when I had an emergency, running interference and even translating for the doctor and me.
Breakfast was not included in the price.
Everything about Dar Manara was above my expectations, the nicely decorated room, the sunny terrace upstairs, the home breakfast , the elegant owner, the staff , the location and all else .
Nothing disappointing at all.
The room was clean, tidy and comfortable.
We were harassed by a so called guide who insisted on showing us how to get there and then was not happy with his 20dh tip. Unfortunately, the host did little to intervene and allowed this man to continue to harass us even after we stepped inside the Riad. Apart from that...I suppose the service was ok, at least until we paid our money. Then they couldn't get rid of us quick enough. I got the impression that tourists were more tolerated than welcome. Our overall experience here was not a good one
Ana, the owner. is a very kind person and did everything she could to make my stay enjoyable.
